    Everyone should read the book,Autobiography of a Yogi...it has
    the truth of why we are really here and what needs to be done so
    that a person can seek and find lasting happiness,peace and wisdom.
    This man dedicated his life to God and to the helping of all people.

    That is an amazing story. It happened to me as well. I was in my university library and I felt something outside myself pull me up the stairs and direct me to the back of the library and direct me up a set of stairs and then walk me down through several isles. It pulled me to the left and my right hand reached out and grabbed this random book. This book was exactly what I needed at the time. Thank you for sharing the story about God calling you to the left to go by autobiography of a Yogi

    Maybe I am egotistical even though I don't feel like it at all in situations when I look back at it yet I want to be numb and forget about people opinions. But sometimes they do hurt and when you do explain it to them they just put off of how you feel towards the subject and will be like well I don't mean or this me yes it is you, you can stay the same but just going a bit further and realizing that you hurt that person and seeing their voice opinion and taking it to consideration and respecting them is to me heart felt but a lot of people don't do that and I guess this is where the hard comes for me. I have been trying to tell people I do believe in God but I more take the teachings of Sanatana Dharma but I lost a relationship due to that. Me praying to "idols" which I called murtis and understanding i get from it may have shine a bad light on my ex teachings of trying getting people back to God as it is known as truth but I do also see truth in Sanatana Dharma and it hurts when I try to explain it to many but I guess it is false cause it is not in the bible. I will accept the bible but if I see compassion and love giving up attachments of the world to serve god I another faith why should I deny it? I see a lot of depth in sanatana dharma and to me there is God there and just cause I say "to me" doesn't mean just for my comfort there is some beautiful things within the teachings.

    But why pick the most negative thing to help us be humble or nothing? Eg i am a fool..
    This believed by the mind makes people lose self esteem the same way choosing the other extreme might bring pride.
    But my que is, what’s this need to go to the extreme negatives?

    • @theviralbombs
      @theviralbombs 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because in our minds we always judge ourselves to the extremes over trivial failures. It's either excessive pride in winning or negative self judgement over losing. There is nothing in between. The point is saying 'so what?' in either cases and dropping the identity stemming from ego consciousness.

    Why would you get rid of the grand uncle of the pandavas? That doesn't work this is false that's not how it works. You can only kill Bishma with the warriors pillow! All of your energy from all your chakras pointed up and channeled up through all 3 channels ida pingala and sushumna. You can't kill the ego first, it is the last thing to die. You have to clairify it, kill all the kuravas first, overcome all your samskaras, follow the yamas and niyamas. Rogue swami follow the Gita commentaries audiobook yogananda left the teachings why would you not go right to the master.
