Wow, you're really pushing the limits with your Yeti 100 training, Reto! Those back-to-back long runs and track workouts are paying off. Keep up the amazing work, can't wait to see you crush that sub-24-hour goal!
Thank you very much for your ongoing support, Mihai. You're a huge inspiration to me, and as I'm watching the UTMB races, I'm in awe of your 168 km Mont Blanc finish! Wow!
@@RunFreeandStrong yes, sometimes I too look back fondly to those times, knowing that I'm currently far from doing an ultra race like the "big brother" in UTMB. But I also rejoice with smaller victories, after all this is life, we have to enjoy what we have, hehe
Thanks Don. I'm grateful to be able to run on the iconic Appalachian Trail, definitely a challenge that doesn't grow old. Happy to see your progress coming back, and best wishes for Saturday's Spartan race. Have fun!
Thanks for your kind support, Andy. Yes, the Yeti 100 M will be trackable and there are 2 locations on the course that will be livestreaming. I'll provide that info closer to race day for anyone who's interested.
Great training Reto, looks like you’re doing really good solid consistent work outs, I really like the speed goat 5 shoes, do you know of other Hoka trail shoes that you would recommend other than speed goat5 ? I’ve stuck with speed goat because they do a good job for feeling light & speedy on the feet, but would like something a bit more durable, cheers Reto ✅👊🏼🌲😀👍🏃🏽♂️✅
Hi Reece, thank you and agree that consistency is key! Please check out the Hoka Mafate Speed 4 as an alternative to the SG 5. I own both the SG 4 and 5, and the Mafate Speed 4 is a better shoe. I just posted a review after 250 miles. th-cam.com/video/znGHPm1XXU8/w-d-xo.html LMK if you have any questions.

@@MihaiGoRunning Life and running is a journey full of memories. Sometimes we want to enjoy the memories and sometimes we say let me try again.
That weekend volume looks really good. Keep pushing, Reto 👍🏃♂️
Thanks Mark. Just a few weeks left, so weekends will be busy lol.
Greaft job reto. That turn around between Yeti and Kodiak is quick!
Thanks Chris. Will be going from Yeti recovery to Kodiak taper. LOL. Should be interesting.
Looks like you're set to accomplish your goal. Best luck! If you shoot for the moon, even if you miss you will land among the stars.
Thank you. And that's a great way of looking at goals. 🙏
Even though the mileage and vert weren't as much as you planned mate they are still impressive numbers Reto. Keep on pushing buddy! 😎🤘
Thanks for the positivity, Ben. Yes, I'll keep pushing and will get there. Let's go!
Great trail there Reto. Volume is key but you already know that. You're putting in a lot more that I have been lately.
