Tapering for a year with no Dr assistance. Can not function today. I had to move in with my Mother and start taking care of her 2 years ago. Have no way to get better with this responsibility and difficult personality. Can not work, have 24/7 equilibrium rocking, can't sleep again, exhaustion, anxiety, depression, lost short term memory, can't learn and retain, blurry vision, twitching nerves. Have tried Theanine Serene and makes me feel worse but sleep better. No one respects me family wise. I never wanted to collapse and not be able to work. The torment is beyond words. Clinging to faith.

I understand but never forget the time passes. People forget and move on so don’t beat yourself up. Taper very slow. Very!! Not sure what you are on or how much but take your sweet time coming off. You don’t want to feel too horrible on each cut. Check out the Ashton Manual for coming off and go slower than that!

I came off of benzoyl cold turkey, I checked into a rehab hospital and confessed to my Dr. I was out of control and was going to die if I did not stop. I was monitored and given fenyl barbital and broke out in hives so he stopped it and just cold turkey and white knuckles it for 90 days. I will never say it was easy and for a short time I thought I was going to die but for me it was worth all I went through so that I could live.❤❤❤❤❤

I am sixteen years off benzoyl and thanking Jesus Christ every day. O would run out of a thirty day at four times a day script in two weeks then suffer serious problems until refill and do it all over again for years until I realized I was gonna die and checked myself into rehab and aftercare. Thank you Jesus

Thanks for the comments. Definitely do NOT do a cold turkey! That is what happened to me and it put me into a world of hurt! If you have to take years to come off, then do that. The key is to go very slow. Very slow. Check out the Ashton Manual for coming off and go on sites like Benzo Buddies to help you. Keep coming back to my channel as well. I will be putting up many videos! Do not rush coming off. Ever! Slow wins the race!

My mother just killed herself yesterday. She was struggling with benzo withdrawal for 6-7 years. She just couldn't get of them. The drugs werent helping her anxiety at all. She said it was like living in hell, and she finally decided to end it all.
I personally think it should be illigal to give this shit to patients without informing of the risk. She was given benzo in the beginning for releaving anxiety symptoms because of her childhood trauma. She ended up getting a higher and higher dosis until it was impossible to get out of.
