You have my eternal gratitude for mentioning those springtail-notspringtail-soil-mites. I've gone down so many internet "rabbit holes" trying to figure out if they're good guys, bad guys, or maybe just figments of my imagination. Just glad to know they're actually a thing, and that they may signify a rot issue. Thanks again.
You and Amanda grow so well together lol. I love watching your videos together or one at a time! You guys are so informative. Thanks guys for working to help us be a better plant mom 😊. 12:46
I used to be scared to care for anthuriums. Now my collection is mostly anthurium. I started with seedlings, and now they're all starting to flower so this year will be exciting. I've watched your videos and learned so much over the year. Even after learning so much, I'm still always excited to watch your videos on plant care. Teacher of the year lol. 🥰
I would really love to see your whole anthurium collection. And maybe a top ten you love the most(for example: because of the dark leaves or the really colourful, emergent leaves).
I seen u brought up the soil mites they eat on the old wood pieces since most of my soil is tree fern fiber n wood chunks I been using bioadvanced rose and garden 3 n 1 spray to get rid of them it’s a fungicide as well I originally got it for my cephalotus collection for powdery mildew on my roots but it kills those stinking bugs and won’t hurt your plants just a heads up if u trying to get rid of um
Hello. As always your videos are very informative, thank you. I'm not sure if I have missed it but your plants use to grow so well in PON and now it looks like you plants in the fern/soil for the majority. I'm sure you have explained why, are you able to refer me a video that explains it please. 🌻
Ouuuu good timing!! Was just hoping for something to watch! I just noticed tinnnny growths in the pot near the base of my clarinervium, but I've never seen that happen before so idk if they're offshoots, or something else, but it looks almost like tiny Alocasia's 😂 I had to do a double take when I walked by yesterday and noticed them 😂
Yayyy!! Soo glad you posted this second video I watched your other one like 3 times just trying to soak in all your knowledge lol! Thanks for all you do!!!
I don’t have any anthurium’s yet, but I would love to, I’m on a tight budget so I’m trying to learn as much as I can before I but one. I love how you explain so much in detail so hopefully my mistakes will be a less. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge ❤
Hi, thanks for sharing do enjoyed it a lot, now I was wondering of changing my anthurium plants to hydro-pond should I do it ? do share and advise,,,thanks
Hi, love your channel. I have some anthurium rehabs but I’ve never grown them before. 2 queens and 1 luxiurian. 2 I have been able to get to push new leaves but the one queen stump is decently healthy but kind of is doing nothing. They’re all in aroid mix. Do you think it would be wise to transfer the one to pon?
People say the crystal is a fast grower, but mine hasn’t been growing fast at all. It lost a leaf due to fungal issues and has been in the one leaf club for months now, what do I do? I even tried repotting it into a bigger pot. It did not like it, the leaf started to get floppy 😢😢😢
Needs pot only 1 inch larger than roots/previous pot, otherwise too much watermay sit in mix, encouraging root rot microbes. Needs chunky, airy aroid mix soil, acidity 6-6.5 pH, damp but not soggy, let top dry before rewater, liquid fert at low dilution every few weeks or month or so. Use rain or filtered water, they dont like hard or chlorinated tap water.❤
Looks like most are needing iron. Maybe take your worst one, make a water with mollasses, thin juice, and water with that. See if anything comes of it. Live and learn. That's what I'd try. Or add a bit of iron organic fertilizer sparingly into potting mix. Would make a good video if nothing else.
Got my three splendidum hybrids from ecuagenera just less a week ago, one of which has major yellowing and kind of melted, it was my Nimphas Joy (hybrid to negrolaminum), from the three the cross from amazon rabbit was the best form so far. My experience to this ecuagera shipping was really disappointing and i bought 14 anthoriums from them since they do have some pop up in Phil. Though they were able to fixed the issue i dont think i am still going to buy from them and it scares me to spend or risk my money to them. However, King of Spdes still in my number 1 wishlist which i still not aquire yet. But i guess i can diffenitely buy from Indo. My recent indonesian imports are all doing so well. The transitions/acclimation was very easy. In just a week i already saw some new leaf for most of the plants as compare to my first ecuagerna plant i purchased last Dec 2023 which until now never seen any development.
Just subscribed yesterday and making my way through your videos. Can you tell me which you like better? Alocasia or Anthurium? I am so drawn to Alocasia but man oh man..... they just don't live more than two years for me. I live in the midwest of the US. Dry and cold.
I’ve had that “oh, that algae that I didn’t know was algae is obviously moisture so it doesn’t need water” problem many times in the past too. Oof. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Maybe someone can help me. My anthurium (no id, something with papillilaminum) was growing great, i got it aa an import in the summer, and now it lost all its leaved in quite a short time. No sign of pests, wasnt under oder overwatered, roots look fine. It was still at a bigger seedling size but now it is just a stump with roots. Does anyone know what could have happend and what i should do?
Hey don’t u live in Canada ? I thot you said just wondering I tried to export from Canada before n it’s almost impossible I figured it was just as bad goin in n u have a lot of u.s. plants
Purple light is good for Photosynthesis because it gives them growth and the energy that they need. I have had my Dragon scale for a month and a new leaf emerged but then one leaf died, also when i bought it the stems were/are speckled with brown dots on the inside of the stems. I was kinda thinking that it was supposed to be that way but now I'm not sure. Do you know? Thanks😊 I really enjoy your videos.💚🌿
Those plants love the tff soil mix ! I’ve been putting some trouble makers in to that mix. Doing my own experiments over here 😅. Pon is causing some rot in my smaller plants too
still watching, hehehe while playing mlbb... oh btw, my indo imports gives me a postve vibes. its acclimated so very fast that most of them has emerged new leaf already@@youdontevengrowhere

Mine did this. I didn’t see any pests but I sprayed with End All anyway because I was out of options. It started growing and continues to do so
Very good information. When you say tree fern fiber with soil do you mean the aroid mix or actual soil?
Ten thousand subscribers. Congratulations, darling.
how do you sanetize soil? :)

It looks like your repots were done with mostly just tree fern with perlite?
Where do you get your clear plastic pots from?
Could you please share how your sanitize the used soil?

glad I'm not the only one struggling with Clarinervium! All my other anthurium are fine but the clari just hates its existence 🤣
Are you saying mico or micro for fertilizer?
Is your soil total tree fern?
