Sorry that fake Carbon and decals looks horrendous I’m all for the power upgrades though epic.
Car Focused well that’s it everybody has their opinions on modifications, If he’s happy that’s all that matter what a car though 🔥🔊
I agree more power and more subtle looks everyday, unless you own a Lamborghini.

Awesome car. Shame about the carbon wrapped tat which should be reserved for Corsas. Might have to get that gearknob though.
To be honest, it's looks awful. I thought a Burberry wearing teenager was going to emerge when the door opened. I'm sure it drives well, but give me an RS like yours Gary, any day of the week.
Not really a fan of the stickers and fake carbon but....it’s nice to watch a video on the Mk3 that’s not about reliability issues and more about performance upgrades. As an owner of a Mk2 I just love anything with an (Ford ) RS badge 💙💚👌🏼

Far from a custom tune that mate, just modified flash which ever cobb supplier will do.

Thanks to Ian for sharing his car and great video Gary (barring the wind noise). 😁 The only remaining upgrade I'm tempted by is the KW v3 adaptive coilovers (already got the DSC controller with stock springs / shocks), was the difference really night and day Gary?
Fake carbon is pointless. Bet its still a weapon to drive though. Possibly the ultimate midlife crisis car 😂

Looks like mine..... I thought mine was unique. Mines got carbon door handles too though. My carbons all chipped up too man, get used too it.
Where did you get your mudflaps? And when you cover the work done, can you itemise the stuff so we know the price for upgrades, decals and interior stuff please.

Does your RS gets creaking sounds from the interior near the door panels?

Check on the mk 3 Rs owners only group on Facebook, you can only get on there if you own one, a member has just had some made, only 10 sets to start with ( I’m one of the lucky 10) but he is going to be getting more produced, they arnt cheap though

Hi bud nice car. Out of interest you mention Forged internals. I am used to owning STI 2.0 which requires forging after 400BHP. What is the reliability of the RS at 400BHP? At what stage does it require forged internals and what cost you looking at? 👍
@@CarFocused ok so similar to an STI then. What power is your car running and has it been reliable at that. These are approx 350BHP stock aren't they so is it just a Remap and exhaust to reach 400BHP ?

you'd be foolish to own an RS after the warranty period, says a lot considering the forums have a whole sticky thread dedicated to engine failures
Fcuk the warranty-the Best thing that you can do to this car is stage 2 (400whp)!

So how close would you say your car is to this as I know how aggressive those dreamscience maps are. I'm always skeptical about other bolt ons but that intake noise is worth getting just for the noise alone haha. Cool video tho and I bet your shopping list has grown after driving that

Very true. Still absolutely love the Focus MK3 RS and it’s my next car hopefully. One car that would always put a smile on your face👍🏽

Your description of the power delivery sounds very similar to my experiences between the DS Ultima's and Litchfield. The DS feels more punchy (once passed the lag/hesitation) but the Litchfield seems stronger at the top. Would you agree ?
Litchfield is much better during warm up too. Much smoother than DS.
