i always get tingles from just your "hey i'm elizaaaa" and i love it. you also just look exactly like my best friend that gives some very needed extra comfort ♥ thank you for doing what you do
Thank you for the recommendations and reviews Eliza! I always love hearing your thoughts about the books you read :)) also gives me a push to read more too haha
Yayy, book content!(hair looking cute btw🫶) As for a book rec, i think that you would like Legends and Lattes, if you haven't read it yet. Is a low stakes cozy fantasy with a saphic subplot between an ocre and a demon. It's really sweet
Yay, Booktube and ASMR, my two favourite kinds of videos! If you read 1984 you might like to read Julia afterwards, which came out last year. It retells 1984 but from the point of view of the love interest. Another recommendation I have is the author Ottessa Moshfegh. I just feel like you would enjoy her novels judging by what kinds of books you've rated highly...!
This is so funny, I was just telling a few friends at work about your book review videos. Thought, it's been awhile and went on to check and to see if I missed any. Love the recommendations!
Wolf Hall is a tough read in parts, I found the second volume much easier to follow. You are completely right about the use of “he” with no antecedent. I think it’s worth going further!
The Trainspotting movie is amazing. Im sorry you didnt enjoy Man in the High Castle. PK Dick is very weird sci fi. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is a bit more straight forward sci fi. A book that I finally read recently and has become my absolute favorite book of all time is The Count of Monte Cristo. Absolutely essential bucket list read. Also a recommend would be Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk. His best imo.
Oooh you should try the award-winning Wolf Hall miniseries adapting Mantel's Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies. It isn't bogged down by the novels' shortcomings and has amazing performances
If you should happen to read 1984 and dislike it, I would still recommend checking out another of Orwell's books called Homage to Catalonia, an autobiographical account about his time participating in the Spanish Civil War. I tend to find Orwell's nonfiction stuff a lot more interesting, personally, and that's one of my favorites.
Tipping the Velvet has been on my to-read forever, maybe this will be the push I need to read it! I'd recommend I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harper. It was probably the most unique book I read last year, it's very contemplative and I think about it all the time.
It might be true that introverts tends to read more books, im myself introverted but i cant read even 2 pages continuously, i dont know how eliza and others so many manage to reqd so much booooookkkkssss!!🫠♥️

Feel free to share more sapphic works. Thank you for sharing this list!
The Orange is one of my top 5 favorite poems
Try the foundation series by issac asimov. I would recommend to read 'Prelude to foundation' as it is the first book in chronological order
I've been waiting for this!!!!!
Thanks Eliza 💜💜💜

1984 is a classic, you gotta read it! I enjoyed it much more than Fahrenheit 451.
