Yes, I totally agree-the Tamron 28-200 is amazing (as are your pictures, especially the one with the dark sky at 13:45). I even did some pixel peeping on my pictures taken with the A7R V, and I can’t complain. Most of the time, I also bring my Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f/4. I originally bought both lenses for timelapse photography, but they turned out to be excellent all-around gear for landscape photography, especially when traveling light-without any compromise.
Mads, love this one. You are so excellent at telling us the viewers how you "work the scene". I always learn more and get several tips for photography every time I watch you . Thanks!
Hi Mads, very good start of 2025! A real live demonstration of going out, chasing the right light, be patient, search for the best composition and position, knowing the urroundigs well, revisit and take your time while enjoying. I like this teaching method of you, as well as the fine results and edits. The only thing I have to do myself is free more time in my agenda and be there. Regards, Bert.
Awesome Mads, I grabbed the landscape 1 & 2 E-books for Christmas. Your work is helping me along with a few other photographers I follow. Cheers, Scott.
I love my Tamron 28-200mm and I bought it because of your enthusiam for the lens....no regrets! The last time I was on the beach with sand being blown like that, I was in Malmo. Thanks for sharing.
Really like the vertical that excludes the tower! The blowing sand and waves were super cool! I am looking forward to going through your ebook !! Wonderful day trip Mads !!
Great start, great images and kudos to you for changing the in-video ads for you books and courses to click-points (or whatever they are called). Happy new year - looking forward to following you for another exciting year.
This has stirred a memory from late 1960s (probably 1968) and visiting the north of Denmark. I was fascinated with the Kattegat and Skagerrak meeting. Somewhere I have a B&W taken on my first box camera. More please 👍👏
You are incredibly brave to be out there is the blowing wind that was so extreme a hand-held photo showed motion blur of the beach. Regarding the "ugly antenna", as a radio enthusiast I found the variety of antennas on and near to this tower quite interesting. I would suggest also taking a few shots closer up that emphasize the antennas for geeks like me.
Getting chills listening to this video. It sounds cold. 🥶 At first, I thought you might be adding the sound, but the blowing sand would indicate otherwise. Very nice photos, especially the ones taken later. Stay warm. 🐧 Carry on. 👍🥂
You Danes are a hardy bunch. So many people walking along the beach and lighthouse area in January with heavy wind and probably nice and cold. Your photos came out super.
@@MadsPeterIversen Wow! I thought most of them went to Spain! Anyway it was a great video. Regardless of the nationalities I admire folks who take advantage of their opportunities.
Mads , I’ve had an epiphany on todays video …it’s not the subject , it’s not the locale nor even the photos ( as great as they are ) that makes an enjoyable photography TH-cam video ….its the ability to portray the actual real life joy of what you are doing ! You have clearly been able to to Portray to the viewer ( me ) the ultimate sheer joy of being outside in the elements taking the shot ! The more enjoyable it is for you the better it is for the viewer…Bravo my friend ( and you didn’t have to even say epic once 😂) …? Did I notice using a insta 360 for one of your shots or was it just the pocket 3 ?? Best Art
I have seen you removing distracting elements from the photos at the post in the older videos (even moving the location of a person in the photo). So why did you choose not to remove the antenna this time? At least in many photos it looked like a pretty simple editing task.
hey the scaffolding has been removed, on my 2nd day of vacation in September in Blavand it was just being put up. Blavand is really beautiful, but too many Germans (says a German) 😜
Just took 3 photos of the aligning planets with light bouncing off venus. This was created by a massive bright moon above our town illuminating the planet above the sunset.
OK, in my opinoin, you are one of the best landscape photographers in the world, but i still don't get it why Sony? Colors are just weird, artificial and digital. Canon or Nikon are lot better with more natural looking colors. Especialy for landscape. And is not something you can fix in lightroom.

I actually had the 16-35mm in the pocket the entire day, didn’t get to use it here
What a great video! Beautiful shots. Your energy and love for photography is inspiring!
Thank you very much, Mike! 🙏

Yeah, time is usually always the issue. I’ve managed to build up the privilege to be able to do this full time :)
Fabulous shots on a perfect day. Bravo❤
Beautiful work Mads! Thank you for sharing your insights.

Thank you so much, Scott! Happy to hear my work help :)
Such an atmospheric video, The wind noise in my headphones was, as Mads says "Epic". Really made me want to be there.
Awesome! I really like working with the sound effects :)

Great video! And an amazing outcome of photos!
btw. bought your new ebook without hesitation! Stoked to read it!
Thank you so much, Till! I really, really appreciate it!

Thanks a lot, Robert! I think it’s my favourite from the day too! :)
what a great selection of images Mads and a perfect topic to coincide with the launch of your new e-book

More will come for sure :)
Amazing day! Gorgeous photos. Makes me want to take my 28-200 out to play!
Go! ;)
I love my a7iii and the Tamron 28-200. On a 30 family vacation to Sicily, that combo and my iPhone 14 was all I took. Both served me well.
Absolutely brilliant as usual Mads!

You are amazing. Your work, attitude, and energy are inspiring. Keep up the beautiful videos. Thank you!
Es un simple faro mariano, estás bueno😂😂😂
A slow shutter with the wind blowing the grasses would have been nice to see.
Casually dipping the lens in the sandblaster on the beach. Brave man.
Really nice video and foto. I love this area of denmark!
Lighthouse looks nice and moody.
All right🎉 😊

Some of the wind sounds were added, so happy to hear that I managed to make it sound believable ;)
Amazing day. I’m surprised that you froze the foreground grass at only 1/80th.
❤❤❤

Thanks Erich, I actually think many of them were German tourists, but Germans are pretty hardy too ;)

What happened to the tamron 50-400 😅

Haha! Thanks Art! Glad it came through! :D - Pocket 3 :)

I could, but I didn’t bother on so many photos ;)
Lovely video, though personally I like to see the lighthouse off centre, otherwise it is a little too phallic!

Mads, what camera(s) do you use to video?
Osmo Pocket 3 :)
Hi Mads, now in 2025 that possible to use AI translate for your video like Michael Shainblum?
Greetings from France
Hi Laurent, yes, it’s possible, but another Frenchman begged me to turn it off because the translation was terrible and a woman’s voice😅
@MadsPeterIversen not important for me. Easier than reading.
