i was so confused to why there werent any clips of him.. like i clicked on this expecting to see them all being chaotic 😭
12:21 for context in this entire segment they're having an interview with one of the dance masters from Boys Planet. He specifically targeted Yujin on the show and was the one who was like "Did you practice Kick It for years?" to Gyuvin. Like i'm not sure if yall remember but on the show there was even a point where Yujin was so scared of him he literally got anxious if he thought he'd be the dance master to evaluate their practice (unlucky for Yujin almost every single time he was evaluated it was by Baek Kooyoung and he sometimes messed up bcs he was scared of him until he had to get over the anxiety).
So basically they got their revenge and complained about his criticisms lol. Like when they slapped his butt (even tho they were gentle with each other) and were like, "Did you practice Love Shot for years?" (bcs he choreographed love shot).
At 12:59, Gyuvin was like "how long did I practice Here I am?" (The signal song) and Gyuvin is basically clarifying that when Baek Kooyoung made the kick it comment above and harshly criticized Gyuvin and Yujin and basically called them 4-star mistakes, they literally had 1 hour to practice the choreography so how tf were they supposed to do well in the situation. Then with Hao's picture, he was worried about Yujin and Gyuvin after they were harshly criticized and they were basically saying that Hao usually doesn't get visibly frustrated but Baek Kooyoung made him worried and frustrated about the situation lol.
Then towards the end Gyuvin was like "Does your son actually know how to dance to Here I am?" which is another call back to Baek Kooyoung saying, "Even my son can do better than this" to Yujin.... (his son is a toddler btw)...
(Anyway sorry for the long ass comment lol. But despite all this Yujin and Baek Kooyoung actually have a good relationship and he was extra harsh on him because he probably wanted him to reach his full potential and Baek Kooyoung actually said that he told the script writers for his show, that out of all the trainees on Boys Planet, he'd choose Yujin to have as a son. In ep 1 everyone said that Yujin's dancing style is similar to Baek Kooyoung which is probably why he paid him extra attention. Even on the show though he was very harsh on him, he complimented him a lot too and chose him as one of his representatives when they did the dance battle segment, so he had some affection for him).

I think kpop generations usually shift with trends and styles in the industry. At some point you kind of realize that the newer groups and their common sound and how they navigate the industry is different the groups that were coming out a few years ago even if they are currently around. So there's not set times in which a new generation starts, it just happens lol. Usually people don't even agree that a new generation is starting or think about it until a few years later when it's very apparent. (this is just what I've observed during my 7-8 years as a kpop stan who's been kind of keeping up with at least the social media aspect of kpop)

If you guys are looking to try other groups, then I would recommend INFINITE. Like SEVENTEEN being known for their choreography and being the Kings of Synchronization of 3rd Generation. INFINITE are also known for their choreography, and they are the Kings of Synchronization of 2nd Generation. After 5 years INFINITE has released their 1st Comeback MV New Emotions from their 7th Mini Album 13egin, and they also were on the Killing Voice. It is so so good, and I would recommend it.

No generation has a date where it's "supposed" to start. There isn't a schedule for kpop genereations
