Denny, I agree with you. But if you're fishing laydowns and nasty tree tops, what line would you use? Braid to fight the big girls out?

I no I'm not Denny, not even close, but my suggestion, if it helps, wuld b 2 use braid for thick lay downs and canopies.

I don't understand how black camouflages... but yet we use black baits for the fish to see it..... yeah makes no sense how if we now color our lines black they can't see it all of sudden

Noah miller Miller it’s a confidence thing if you think it camouflages the line then it does if you don’t it doesn’t 😂😂😂

the narrow low line capacity spool? you're not casting a pitch/flip reel any great distances. They also removed the line guide worm gear so it's a stationary hole in the middle. Someone must like them because i remember when this design first came out and it's been quite a few years.

+Midwest Bass They do make great reels. However, I don't think the price tag matches. I'm not a big fan of BPS merch but I'll tell u wat, the BPS Pro Qualifier baitcaster is 100 bucks an has nothing but great reviews an I own one in 7:1:1 an it has held up to wenching sum big girls out of sum seriously heavy slop wit 50lb braid, matched up wit a Duckett 7'3 heavy, which I also can't speak highly enough about.

+kushcrumbleshatter1990 I have heard good things about the bps reels and might try one but I'm kind of stuck on Lew's. $100-$200 range they really shine. I also switched all my rods this year to Powell's 3d max. I haven't tried ducket but that micro magic sure does get a lot of good reviews!
