If memory serves me, Jane Nelson was also the assistant on "The Diamomd Head Game", a syndicated game show startimg Bob Eubanks that aired around that same part of the decade.

Bill Carruthers, whose production company churned out this show, once worked for Chuck Barris Productions and produced and directed "Newlywed" and "The Dating Game" early in their ABC runs. Undoubtedly, some thought "The Neighbors" was a Barris creation.

Only women participated in this game, believe it or not! Other game shows that had this feature were 'Missus Goes a-Shopping', '(The New) Treasure Hunt', and 'Give-n-Take'.
