    Hi
    In your video of personal subjective pronouns , you said that there is no ‘it’ in spanish language. Objects with masculine noun use “ él” and feminine use ‘ella’.
    So why are we considering it here at 2:41 time in this video?
    Thanks.

    As both vuestro and tu mean your how do we differentiate between them .... Pls tell me.

    • @RodrigoIdiomas
      @RodrigoIdiomas  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vuestro/su mean YOUR (plural). And "tu" means YOUR (singular). The only way to differentiate them is through context (same as in English). In English you can't either tell whether YOUR refers to the 2nd persona in the singular or to the 2nd person in the plural ;-)

    When do we use tu and su?

    • @RodrigoIdiomas
      @RodrigoIdiomas  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      tú (with the accent mark) = you (subject pronoun)
      tu (without the accent mark) = your (possessive adjective for the informal YOU)
      su = his/her/its/theirs/you formal
      For example:
      Éste es tu libro = This is your book (informal/friendly)
      Éste es su libro = This is your book (formal)

    i don't understand 2 things , first you can use "tu" and "su" and "vuestro" to say "your". second is su can be used for "your", "its, his, her" and "their" ?

    • @RodrigoIdiomas
      @RodrigoIdiomas  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello Audaix:
      tu = your (for the singular, informally)
      su = your (for the singular, formally)
      vuestro/a = your (for the plural - Spain)
      su = your (for the plural - Latin-America)
      SU can be used as Possessive Adjective for: your (singular-formal), his, her, its, their and your (plural-Latin-America)

    Hi, How do I know when to use the pronoun Esto or Este and Eso or Ese?

    • @RodrigoIdiomas
      @RodrigoIdiomas  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Agrawal. Welcome to my Free Spanish course.
      1) esto = this
      2) éste (with the accent mark) = this one
      3) este (without the accent mark IS ALWAYS USED FOLLOWED BY THE NOUN/THING) = this + object
      4) eso = that
      5) ése (with the accent mark) = that one
      6) ese (without the accent mark IS ALWAYS USED FOLLOWED BY THE NOUN/THING) = that + object
      For example:
      1) Quiero esto = I want this
      2) Me gusta más éste = I like this one more
      3) Me gusta más este libro = I like this book more
      4) Quiero eso = I like that
      5) Me gusta más ése = I like that one more
      6) Me gusta más ese libro = I like that book more
      Beware that most of native Spanish speakers don't know what to use the Spanish accent marks properly. Especially in Latin-America due to inefficient education programs at school.
      I explain this topic in this video: th-cam.com/video/Tv2HBu-AYMQ/w-d-xo.html
      You can find all my Spanish lessons in numerical order here (individual lessons): th-cam.com/video/4FB1nO6ckZI/w-d-xo.html
      Or you can study from the same lessons but compiled into longer videos: th-cam.com/video/Sd7fZia_nEk/w-d-xo.html
      If you follow the lessons in order you will notice that suddenly it jumps to older videos. That is the beginning of the original Spanish course. All the tests and quizzes from my website are based on those.
      Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
      On Wednesday at 12 PM from Buenos Aires I will be broadcasting LIVE. You are free to join!
