Red laser diode have(-) on case and (+) on the other and infrared laser diode have (+) on case and (-) on the other but what do blue laser diode have. Please tell me
Yeah, it seemed a liitle strange to me too, but + does go to the case. Red lasers have negative to the case & infra-red have + to the case. I burned out a few laser diodes before I figured it out. I received my first infra-red diodes without any information on how to hook them up & followed some information that worked for red laser diodes. I can think of some projects where + to the case makes things a little tricky.
Oh crap..... Well that solves an interesting string of mysterious failures regarding my failure of many invisable lasers that didn't work. Or maybe didn't work. I mean who knows when an invisable laser doesn't seem to turn on......
When I purchased my first lasers I also purchased some laser glasses that work primarily for 650nm & 808nm. What's printed on the lenses states as follows: 655-685 + 785-830nm OD3+ 650-685-690nm OD2+ 770 < 785 + >830-845nm OD2+ 36%VLT I was surprised when I first put them on to see that the the laser light was only barely visible even with a 100mw 650nm laser. I have discovered that there is definitely a need to wear them. My eyes became very sore from the brightness of the red laser even though I never allowed the beam to enter my eyes. That kind of surprised me. I guess it's like watching someone welding without using correct protection. Your eyes can get quite sore from doing that.
Just find some eye protection glasses that work for 808nm or for whatever ?nm you decide to use. Type laser protection glasses for 808nm on Ebay or Amazon or google it.
Hey man where did you find the music for this video
hello you could send me the laser circuit, where I can buy it

Can we use cheap lm2596 DC to DC converter to power the laser diode up directly?

Are you sure about the + going to the case? I think maybe you have your polarity reversed in your diagram?

Yes. Infrared laser diodes have + to the case & non-infrared diodes have - to the case.
What kind of eye protection did you use? Do you know the OD class of the goggle if you used one?

Thank you very much your answer. I wasn't sure I need to wear it, if I won't look in the beam.

why none of the tutorials of making lasers have audio, talk please!!!
is 808nm infared?
And pls tell me what the heck is not used pin for?
yes
yuck...........................
