High school was a long long time ago for me. The way I was treated and bullied and made fun of by the cliques still impacts the way I deal with other people today. I don't even want to go back to my hometown. Once my mother dies (and I don't go back as much as I should) I will never go back there and it's all directly related to the people that are still there and still behave in the same manner. Some people never learn.
I have not left my hometown yet, but I always think about this, I thought I will forget when I will grow up and I won't care about whether living here or outside, because right now I wish to leave too because of the people. Every person. Family, friends, neighbours, colleagues... I always thought they were the only thing that kept me here but i thought this feeling would fade. But when we see her in that scene, she's in a better mood than before and even though the compliment was fake, she still took it and was happy to hear it because she walked away with a smile on her face. And yet they get the "unfriendly" label.
