The fact he's so reviled shows how well he plays his role, from a Leafs fan. BTW, that thumbnail is funny AF.
I'm a Montréal Canadiens fan so if anything, I would hold a bias against him. He's a winner and leader. The guy you hate to play against but would absolutely respect and admire if he was on your team.
haha he knows he's a heel on the ice and does his job perfectly but love to see him being a nice person too
Crazy that he hasn’t won a Selke award.
Since it's inception 1977-78 there's only been 11 wingers to win this award. Bob Gainey has 4 of them, Jere Lehtinen has 3, Craig Ramsay, Dirk Graham, Sergei Federov, John Madden all have 1. Lehtenin was the last winger to win it in 03. The problem seems to be that faceoff % is a huge part of the reward now. I think Marshy & Mark Stone are the 2 best 200ft wingers in the game. I'm a Bruins fan, hate Marshy when he crosses the line. But he's the Bruins MVP that's for sure. Bergy is at legendry status of course, but Marshy is the one who stirs the tea in Beantown!
I'm watching it with my own eyes, but my brain refuses to acknowledge it.
As a Boston fan I'm actually happy he did something nice for the leafs considering they are out biggest rival.
These comments make me chuckle.
I’m a Rangers fan, but I love Marchand. Some of the stuff he’s done is stupid or dirty, but he’s really talented and a great agitator.
Marchant is classic hockey player and a classy man
You are amazing Brad I hope you know that 👍👍👍
Ok, but was the reporter high? Genuine question
I'm a leafs fan and knew this about him. He's a good guy. I'd love to have him in Toronto but I know that won't happen. Lots of respect for him.
Awesome vid. Great man.
This is Why Marchand is one of my favorite Hockey Player's! 🏒 really fun to watch him play and interact with fans! 👍
Ranger fan here, every game I've seen him, he's a solid star, but then he's the best player on the Ice for 3 or 4 shifts,, every game
