Happy Sunday!!! Hope you’re having a great week. This video is to encourage all my fellow and aspiring content creators that you can grow on TH-cam with a full time job! Let me know, what other working TH-camrs do I have here?!?!
Hey there...working youtuber here with 5 a.m wakeup calls. Just started my channel and almost 3 weeks later, I'm enjoying it while figuring things out. Thanks for the tip on stacking up on videos for when life gets to busy. Will definitely be doing that in future.
I LOVE your opening and closing remarks. I love hearing repeated “you can live the life of your dreams” and the “I’m gonna need you to jump on that” cracks me up every week. Don’t have TH-cam aspirations but listened to video because I knew it would have useful strategies I could apply to my goals.
Thank you for the tips! I like how you said hobby vs priority, you have given me a different perspective. I started my channel a month ago and have uploaded at least one video a week and plan to continue. However, I was calling this new venture into TH-cam a hobby, but there is a different mindset that goes along with what you call things.
Congratulations on starting your channel!!! That small mindset shift really helps as you keep at it bc sometimes it doesn’t feel “fun” when you’re not seeing what you want to see. But the commitment to keep learning and keep showing up helps to get over the hump!!! ❤️
I just came across your channel and i love what you are doing❤❤❤...im so excoted to be here cos your channel seems to be the exact kind of inspiration i have been looking for here...suscribing right away
🙌🏾 Welcome, friend! I’m so happy you’re here!!! And thank you so much. I’m really glad you’re finding it helpful and inspiring ❤️ Curious, have you started a channel?!
This is what I needed to hear 👂. I drop the ball on my outline … it’s the one thing that I think I don’t need … yet w/out it I procrastinate recording. Definitely going to work on getting more disciplined with this.
Ooh, girl!!! That's a whole question right there. 😂 Editing can be a fun process but like anything new, it's definitely a learning curve. My best advice is just to practice, and start by practicing on small pieces of content. From a global perspective- I've found editing to be easiest when my plan for the video is tight. If you're just starting, there are plenty of user-friendly apps like iMovie or Canva that can help you get the hang of it.
I was ready and excited to start listening in to your video until you mentioned that you were filming from your hotel room when it's pretty obvious that you're using an AI generated background. Pretty hard to take you seriously after that. Disappointing.
lol 😂 I’m extremely impressed you thought it was an AI background!!! I guarantee you that it was not. Just a clean hotel room (with the iron in the back that I only just noticed) and camera setting to focus on me. If and when I care to learn how to add an AI background I’ll be more than thrilled to disclose that. Sad that we live in a world where people feel the need to be so suspicious. 😔

Congrats on getting started!!!! So proud of you! It’s a lot of work but really fun and rewarding. You’ve got this!
I work 10hr days- Thanks for sharing calendar and staying organized. And prefer scripts too. ~Subscribing now❤

Aww, thank you so much!!! So glad you listened! Yes, the intent was for the tips to apply no matter the goal! 🤗

Yes, girl!!! Having a clear plan going in helps me out SOOO much. Having my script really gets me pumped about recording! 😆
Love this! Taking notes on everything you touched on ☺️
🙌🏾🙌🏾
It’s been a journey, but these have really helped me to learn and grow and be consistent ☺️
❤ Saving this to watch for later. Thank you!
You’re so welcome!!! ☺️
What do you use to edit and what camera set up?
I use Final Cut Pro to edit because I wanted more features, but at the beginning I used iMovie and it was totally fine. I record on my iPhone! 😉
How do you edit??
