never regret having this guitar despite other people on Internet bashing it
it suits and fit on my small hand very much!
Well, it has some issues, but the luthier fixed everything for a reasonable price. Fret leveling/polish and shielding - now this guitar is near perfection. I also already changed bridge and middle pickups and installed a sustainer in neck, now that's the most powerful guitar I have. =)
@@silvansky in my case i just need shielding because single coil buzz quite made me trouble hahaha

Especially when there is a bad grounding in the building.
@@silvansky my home for example hahahaha contractor when this house was built are forget to doing a grounding on electrical system
In my apartment workers used a power cable with grounding. But they didn't connect the ground wire to anything. =)
Had to fix that. But the house grounding is terrible and also I can catch a radio signal on my guitars sometimes. )

It became even better after some modding.
It's a cool looking guitar but honestly something that puts me off is the split design that cuts across the humbucker - must be a pain to change no!?
I find some beauty in this design. ;)
I changed humbucker without troubles. But there will be some for the other pickup because the screw diamerer diffes and I need to get the suitable top screw. But this is a minor issue.

Great showcase!! How do you rate the neck profile compared to a normal strat? Is it thinner?
Thanks! I feel no difference between this guitar's neck and fender one. But it feels better because it is not sticky.

Hi..how do you rate this guitar?those are factory set up or u mod it?
The only mod on this video is a better string tree. Then I installed a roller string tree and metallick knobs and took it to a luthier to make following mods:
• Shielding - I do need it here
• Fret leveling and polish - now it plays better
• Filing a nut to lower action a bit
• Installing sustainer pickup in the neck
• Making cavity for battery and switches
The next planned mod is better pickups in bridge and middle. Already bought them. )
But even without all the mods this guitar is pretty good. Nice sounding alnico pickups, coil splitting on humbucker for more stratty sounds, great look, easy to play, good ergonomics for me. The vibrato unis is nice too, but I think it should be replaced in a year or two if I use it too often. It is stable now, but gonna wear out.
I compared it to other guitars of this price range and this guitar is a monster for the price! Much better than any others. And it's beautiful. ;)
But if you can affrod a bit more expensive guitar, I can recommend Cort G280 Select. I own one in amber colour and it is perfect out of the box: great frets, shielding, better neck profile, more ergonomic. The only thing I modded is electronics: I added coil split and Gilmour mod.

Which guitar you will recommend if i ask you between this guitar and yamaha Pacifica 112vm? How is the quality of this guitar?
Hi! You asked me under the other video, but I can reply here too. =)
I never tried Pacifica, so can't tell anything about it. But the quality of this guitar is good, I like it. Bought it for modifications and they are in progress. I already installed sustainer and will change bridge/middle pickups soon. If you will buy this guitar I recommend these improvements:
• Swap string trees to roller ones - this will improve tuning stability
• Polish frets if you gonna make lot of bending
• Deep slots in nut a bit to lower strings
Oh, and if you plan to play with high gain sound you will also need shielding the pickup cavity. I already did and it is a huge upgrade for this guitar.
In fact, this should be done to any low priced guitar.

I will consider your advice and decide which guitar I should go with. I already own a squier bullet start (HSS), do you recon this guitar as a good upgrade to that?
It's funny, because Squier Bullet is more expensive guitar in my country. =)
But I heard it isn't as good as more expensive squier guitars. Never tried it, so can't tell for sure. It has ceramic pickups, and the Aria has alnico-5, so It's better. Also Aria has better ergonomics, but not as perfect as my Cort G280. And it looks great with flame maple top. Also 2-point trem is always better than 6-point one on Bullet.
I think you should go and try Aria in a showroom if you can and make decision based on your feeling.
And if you want a truly better guitar look at Cort G280 Select, they're awesome and way better than Aria and Squier. I already have one so wanted to try something else and a bit cheaper for modding, so bought Aria.
@@silvansky(I will use present day value of usd currency as it will be easy for you to understand)I am from India and I bought my squier bullet for 170 dollars 2 years ago(now they are 200 usd) . Aria guitars are sold only online here, hence I can't try it out physically 😕 they are priced around 290 usd. Cort g280 is about double the price of aria around 500 usd. I am looking for guitar under 350 usd and save some money for modifications and other gears( I am still a student and rely on my parents for money, I work part time and saved some money so I can buy myself something nice for Christmas, 😁) That's why I want that investment to be a good one and be fulfilled with it and have no regrets. I appreciate your replies and its helping me too ☺️

There are no locking tuners on this guitar. As for me, pickups sound really good, but the string balance is not perfect because of staggered pole pieces. I bought this one to mod it a lot, so I will change neck pickup for the sustainer and will keep the bridge pickup as is, because I like how it sound.

Фирма очень старая, так что странно, что не видел. :) Раньше их в Японии собирали, теперь в Китай вот перенесли производство.
Я на озоне купил, а так у нас они почти в каждом музмаге есть.
@@silvansky, будьте осторожны с экранировкой -. Я 615 телекастер экранировал - и стекло пропало блин. На петли и сопротивление проверил - экранировалось хорошо, но стоковый звук потерялся ((
@@DVARTBASS спасибо за совет! Экранировка добавляет ёмкость в цепь и немного режет верха. Мастера говорят, что это примерно эквивалент добавления метра гитарного кабеля. Но я кроме экранировки ещё и сустейнер устанавливать буду, а он сделает гитару полностью активной, то есть, сильно уменьшит влияние кабеля на звук, что должно компенсировать потери на экране. Но это всё в теории, разумеется. После всех процедур планирую сравнительное видео записать. Например, сыграть то же самое, что на этом видео, да с ним склеить.
А что за первую мелодию вы наигрывали?

Ну, это полностью обратимое изменение. Не понравится - можно медь снять и вернуть как было. )
Но вообще тут конечно от окружения зависит. У нас тут проводка в доме советская, хоть я и завёл нормальную с землёй по квартире. Но радио ловится на синглы только так. Без экрана с перегрузом играть не очень.

The only mod I had on this video is a better string tree. But now this guitar has a lot of them: new pickups, sustainer in neck, shielding, routing for battery and sustainer controls, roller string tree, new pot cups. And more to come. )

I installed Fokin Grizzly humbucker and Fokin Magnum middle single. They are hotter than stock pickups, but they give a really nice clean and distorted sounds. I'm gonna make a demo video when I have more free time.

Струны не строят одна или 2.
Дело не в струнах, а в том, что я забыл подстроить перед записью по тюнеру. А сам болел в этот момент и не распознал, что расстроена. Уже когда выложил услышал, что всё плохо. Стыд. =/
Зачетная гитара, лучше Джета 450
Я купил сразу две: эту и jet js-500, эта явно выиграла по качеству и звуку. ;)
