okay, among other things, i saw a PK thunder(ness from smash bros), kurokami phantom(medaka box, though she's not the only one to use that skill. soujiro from rurouni kenshin is another good example, its also called shukuchi), and at 10:25, i'm fairly sure that was a giga drill breaker. i also saw a double lariat, though thats not exactly an anime/game specific move. they went full out on the references in the monster skills didn't they?

Nekomata does 100 Crack fist from fist of the north star, as well as the previously stated gundam skill. Rifle demon rips off Black rock shooter.
It feels like they took one step forwards and two steps back with the monsters, don't get me wrong i enjoy the Monster Mount abilities but getting rid of Magichange and Fusion made the Monsters redundant in my opinion.
I've only ever used the nekomata, flora beast, or empusa. Though monsters are a pain to grind since once one gets stuck in a tower, that tower is stuck until you toss the monster off and I tend to grind using crazy powerful maps using towers.
They got rid of the eryngi... without an incubus type character, and all the female humanoid classes in this game, males are not looking very great in Disgaea D2.
