🟣World of Warcraft is one of my favorite video games even though I haven't played it in years. I remember the period of time after college graduation. At the time I was living in Florida and there were no video game game company’s around that I wanted to work at (save EA’s sports division). I would have loved to work at one right out of college though!
I just found your channel and i love it! i just wanted to give a very deep thank you for having CC's on your videos. i really need them and a majority of channels dont do this so it really puts a barrier on what i can watch. again, thank you!
You are so welcome and I promise, I will have captions on every single video! I can’t do it for livestreams since they tend to be longer but I’ll always add them to my videos!
I had a similar feel but a few years later. Just as you were on your way out of the game I came in during wrath. I loved it so much, became friends with my guild, so much so that we are still in communication today and play other games together and have visited irl. I fantasized about applying for blizzard. Specifically I wanted to work blizzcon events haha. But I never worked up the courage to even make a cringey cover letter. I have a question, since you played a lot of burning crusade, did you feel any pull to go and play burning crusade classic when it was released? They are getting ready to release wrath classic and I am starting to consider resubbing for the first time in years just to play wrath again haha.
I love the stories where people become real life friends with other people they met in game. That's so awesome! I just checked my email and it looks like I played for a bit during Cataclysm too but after that, i stopped keeping up with it. Didn't even know what the new expansions were or anything. I didn't realize there was a Burning Crusade Classic, sounds fun ha. Honestly, if you're thinking about it, do it :P That's what I say lol. Even if you play a few months, it'd be worth it to re-live the moments you know?
Oh, you missed out! Working for Blizzard is great! You get free oatmeal packets in the cafeteria, a comfortable desk to nap under after your 18 hour shift, and all the NDA's and union-busting paperwork you can sign! Just don't drink anything they offer you.

After I applied at Blizzard, I remember applying to Capcom and Konami too, anyone who had a SoCal headquarters 😆

Awwww your letter is cute as heck
Haha thanks 😝
I'm kinda glad that you didn't work for Blizzard because the way they treat their employees and especially female employees is literally shit.
So I’ve heard 😬
