We sailed on her during the restart. I was so happy to be cruising again. Had a mini suite and an absolute great time. She may be a little tired but still full of charm. Love the Grand and Crown Class Princess ships. Great video, Thank you for sharing.
We recently did a 3 day cruise on the Grand (to get to Platinum status) and that ship is old and tired. The rooms are mostly the same on all Princess ships but the rest of the ship is tired. The food was ordinary - cold food in the buffget was left to heat up for hours, hot food was not kept hot and the general feel of the ship is worn out. We have sailed on the Island, regal and majestic and the grand, well, needs a lot of refreshing or retirement. The other ships, even the Island, are in much better condition. We love the Princess line but not the Grand. We will not sail on that ship again. I mean, the cruise prices are not any cheaper for an old ship so we won't cruise on it.
It looks pretty good for a balcony cabin. That shower curtain made me shudder. Thanks for that Adrian. Hope you're enjoying your 6 star cruise experience.
Those shower curtains make my skin crawl. It’s sad, really, the way they drag the entire room down, spoiling what could otherwise be quite an elevated setup.
“Everyone agrees” about the shower curtains? What is wrong with them? Moldy? They leak water all over the room? what? Also we sail on Grand Princess in 10 days ( 5 cabins down from this one on deck 11)! And these comments are not very encouraging. 😬
@@patriciaseeley2260 😆 sorry to alarm you. It’s nothing serious. If you’re not familiar with shower curtains, they have a tendency to stick, and billow inwards while showering. They’re not great. Newer ships tend to have glass shower screen doors. Hope you enjoy your cruise.
Thank you so so very much for this video. It is much appreciated. Unfortunately it’s back to the drawing board for me. I can’t possibly stay in a room with a shower curtain. Yuk yuk yuk.
Thanks for watching! All of Princess’ cabins have shower curtains except for full suites. The new Sun Princess is the first Princess ship to have shower doors in all cabins.
Pacific Encounter and Pacific Adventure are ex Princess ships - they’re both based on the Grand Princess. The general layout and facilities are much the same.
The very first cruise ship I ever sailed on . She was a queen of the seas back then . ❤

Hoping B310 is similar & we'll be happy.
Should be pretty much identical. Enjoy your cruise!
