@@lisahumphreys6612 you are correct. At the time of this video I didn’t know about stromatolite. Now I find this stuff all the time in a few different spots. Thanks for watching
A few years ago I found some nice examples of Stromatolite in Troy’ Montana on the Kootenay River. It took me about a year to identify what it was. Keep up the great work with your videos. 👍🏼
@@lisahumphreys6612 oh that’s cool. I found some Jasper stromatolites in Utah once. Are you located in Grand Junction area? If so you can hike around the Hunter Canyon Formations and always find stromatolites or travertine stromatolites in the creek beds.

Those are some awesome rocks you found. The moon stone and the black agate are my favorites with the jaspers, feldspars and the Stramatolites a very close second. Does the quartz with the orange (jasper)polish up nice? Great video keep up the great work.
Glad you enjoyed it. The black agate and moonstone are my favorite. The moon stone is just mesmerizing. I found a big chunk or black chalcedony a few days ago much larger then this one. It will be same river but 50 miles upstream. That video should be out next week.
