Samples + Duty cycles for the arps might be a bit too much for the Z80 without the DMA support of machines like the Amstrad CPC+. The pickbass sounds great! How many Kb do you need for all the samples ? I started to play around with furnace as well. Do you know if there is exemples of the replays for the Z80 yet ?

I don't think so, it would eat the CPU to do it.
@@roshwyinstaicoon2593 It has to change the volume register of every channel like 24000 times per second to get decent audio out of it. I think with enough optimization (like handwritten Z80 assembly) it is possible.

Huh, is that an actual driver for the Speccy or is it just using the same soundchip? I am working on a demo with samples on the YM2149F (fuck GI's implementation of it IMO :P) so if this could cut my work in half I need to learn this tool. If it exists does it eat the whole CPU when playing regular (non-sampled) patterns as well?
i don't have the answer to any of your questions lol, i just know furnace supports AY samples
@@traumatizedgeworth Looked it up, seems like it only emulates the chips without the computer itself. Great song nonetheless and maybe someday I could challenge myself to get it running on a real Speccy maybe :P
@app0the I mean yeah, you can change the mhz in settings to the mhz of different systems that use the chip so that doesn't surprise me
@@app0theThe emulators Furnace uses for its chips are damn accurate anyway. OPM, OPN, and OPL chips especially.
