JUDY GARLAND Excerpts from the Miss Show Business album in STEREO 1955 OVER THE RAINBOW plus others

The new technology isn't perfect yet, but it sure is interesting how they can separate elements of mono recordings and create true stereo with them. Here are tracks from a new CD set that also includes the JUDY album in stereo. These highlights are examples of what Judy's Miss Show Business album may have sounded like if it had been recorded in stereo. Songs: Judy's Olio (You Made Me Love You, For Me And My Gal, The Boy Next Door, The Trolley Song), Happiness Is A Thing Called Joe, Rockabye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody, and Over The Rainbow. Orchestra conducted by Judy's brother-ib-law, Jack Cathcart. Recorded in 1955.

Thanks for posting.When I listen to Judy I get that extra pleasure no other singer can give me.Happy songs, sad songs, no other singer can convey emotions better than Judy.She was unique and a singing style all her own

You are wonderful, Buzz. We'll build that statue to you yet. This is one of my favorite albums. I particularly enjoy her studio recordings. My absolute favorite is "Mean to Me". She becomes the music in that one. I play it over and over.

​I did this, I Cromed it. There are two covers. One is the USA WHERE HER PICTURE HAS RED HAIR AND SHE IS IN A GOWN AND THIS ONE WHICH is UK - CAPS JUST HAPPENED, I guess it is her but Liza can look alot like her. Are both albums the same?​@@BuzzStephens1

@@BuzzStephens1 Well I am trying to respond to you but my phone is acting up I Cromed it and there are two Miss Show Business albums. The UK one and the USA one that has Judy with red hair in a gown I guess that is her. Lisa can look like her in some pictures. Are both those albums the same?
