Thanks for uploading, i always wondered how they keep parts lubed in any position...my EHO25 Subaru robin 4 stroke(nearly identical to the honda gx25 ) lasted 12 years mounted to friction drive powered bicycle, its only now having problems: oil getting into the carb...doing a compression test today ... fingers crossed

    Hi thanks for your video.
Got a question How oil reaches to Cam housing? 0:39

Oil mist is pushed through the bottom reed valve by the pressure from the crank case when piston is going downward, reaching cam housing with a side tubing for the oil.
What i don't understand though is why the oil mist seems to prefer going through the reed valve and cam housing rather than being pushed back right to the oil chamber (there's no one-way valve here)🤷‍♂. Hope it helps.
      Bonne journée 😉,
      Cordialement,
      Yann

If you are going to mow the grass on your ceiling, it is better to use an electric trimmer. )))

That's a key point that this illustration fails to explain, likely because it wasn't understood.
The engineering magic is a separate oil chamber and a timing belt that provides liquid oil return when the engine is operated inverted for an extended period.
The crank end of the timing belt is driven by a gear in the _middle_ of the oil chamber, with the oil slinger vanes angled out on either side with a geometry that insures at least one will always be dipping into oil. When upright, the belt is somewhat above the liquid oil level and only transports a modest amount of oil into the cam/valve chamber. When inverted a 'coffer dam'' around the timing belt path keeps the liquid in the oil chamber rather than draining into the valve chamber.
At the other end the carefully angled valve cover gathers any liquid oil to pool around the cam gear and belt. The cover's close fit around the entire curved part of the belt causes it to pick up and direct the oil upward. It clings to the belt for the straight run up into the oil chamber. There the oil is flung off the outside as the belt bends around the crank gear. The ejected oil drains down the side and thus remains in the chamber rather than returning down with the timing belt.
If the oil level is high enough the belt does some active pumping where the teeth are separating from the cam gear then squeezed out when meshing at the crank gear. This can potentially transport much more liquid, but it appears that the outside of the belt is sufficient in most conditions. There is plenty of reserve capacity to clear the liquid if just the wrong shaking puts a slug of oil onto the valves.

Do not store vertical. Let it rest flat on the ground. Seen that in a honda GX motor chinese clone maintenance manual, honda didn't care to tell genuine owers that "detail"
