This Chris would be an awesome DYI project for you. You can get large LED matrixes already made, or just space out sperate addressable individually ones.
I didn't know this existed! I already have an existing Yeelight setup I could integrate such lights into, especially if they supported their LAN Control feature.
Hello Chris, thank so much for making these inspirational videos... But I'm planning to start building DIYs like you do but I don't know what tools to buy, so can you make a video, going over the tools you use in creating THESE DIYS... Please I'm looking forward to hear from you. Thank you!
HEy Chris, awesome review like always, very detailing and showing everything! Oh and I also have an DIY Idea for you, how about a infinity mirror with cool light settings? Making the effect bounce itself in the reflecting foil would be insnae
Neat video as always. If I could give one small helpful piece of advice.. a lot more people are using subtitles now and the way some scenes are framed the subtitles block what you are trying to show off. (i.e. the alien invaders demo) Keep up the good work!
The 4 connections are most likely b+, 0v, Data and Clock. Yes, some strips have a backup data path, that is quite rare though. Most 4 wire addressable LED's are 2 for power, one for data and one for clock That said, Yeelight might also just use data and have a doubled up power line :). I'll have to get one and play
great video thats for sure. just one little thing about the product. when they are connected, and displaying the dots, you can still sorta tell where each panel is. the gap bewteen each panel is slightly larger an the gap between each pixel..... that kinda breaks the continuity feeling.
🎉🎉🎉Perfect...U make my project so easier ...Thanks for support us the kind man.❤ Plz do video on: How to connect 4 or more WS2812B led strips with power supply and T8000AC Led pixel controller or T300k Led pixel controller. If u do that I will very much greatful to u. ♥ Love you and always with u.❤
So I just looked it up on Facebook and they try to market it as 29 dollars each but that doesn't include the power module. So they want to charge 25 more for that. So yea 35 each is just about correct on the price for each light.
Just received my kit from indiegogo. For those of us with iPhones the setup demonstrated here looks nothing like the 2 hours i spent getting mine to work. Or the others who never got them connected. Or others who used their M1 ipads to connect them. Also doesn’t discuss the fact that the time is only 24 hour time and cannot be changed if the time zone is wrong and or only two time zones are offered as options during setup. There is the broken English issue of binding your email to your Yeelight account and shipping this info off to china during setup. Doesn’t discuss the spotlight not working on certain effects nor that they just be reset out of the box. Misses the fact that the instructions to get configured are minimal at best and will require you to figure out what was meant. Expect quite a bit of frustration if you are an iPhone user and or don’t run only 2.4GHz WiFi at home. I really like this channel and trust Chris’ opinions but like many of the others out there these reviews do not show you the true nature of these products. I still like mine but the out of box experience resembled nothing like what I watched here and many others on indiegogo will attest to the same.

Awesome looking product Chris,
Now for the price....
I hope you are all well 👍🏻
How was the spotlight?
Yea didnt find any mention or showoff after the unboxing....
I have their Monitor Light and honestly it's really well built.
I didn't know this existed! I already have an existing Yeelight setup I could integrate such lights into, especially if they supported their LAN Control feature.

Cool product would have liked to see the spotlight
Nice video, nice presentation and how the app/desktop app works.. You really made us want this product.
My favorite color palette at 8:10
I wonder if these can be connected to wled like the light bulbs can
Really, really nice. 👍🏻😎

these Cubes are so cool
Your next project should be a statue display pedestal with rgb lights. That would be awesome!!!!
Good review Chris! I subscribed! One question about these cubes, can you choose a audio spectrum analyzer effect?
Love the video
but would love to see more builds

Nice app looks amazing
Perhaps I missed it. How is it detecting the different colors on the screen? Is there a camera or and interface box?
Maybe it is just for the PC and the app is detecting the screen? Guessing I answered my own question.
Where did you get the dynamic images from?
This is cool, I wonder what the price would be

How to add the light in the desktop app if i do not have wifi on my desktop pc?
Thank you Chris.
Cool, but sad we didn’t get to see the spot
Accidently summoned Cennobites.
Yo tambien quisiera comprarlas JAJAJA 💚💚💚
how much price?
Please have a decent price, please have a decent price 🙏
$35 each cube is what ive been reading, im gonna wait this one out tho. i like the idea tho.
@@nyvenom30w72 uhh... I think it's time to dust off my 3D printer and get some new addressable LED stips

Oh and each power module can do up to 5 or 6 blocks I think it was.
Even the super early bird prices are too high for me lol
These are super cool but with a price of almost $200 usd for the cheapest option I can’t afford it 😢
Absurdly expensive. The setup you're showing at the end of the video is over $600... the starter kit with the 3 cubes is $360.

Way too expensive even if it's cool idea.
Cool review...except you forgot the spotlight.
