Thanks for watching. The plan is very much to include more of the cars on the channel but having injured myself quite badly any manual work is having to wait unfortunately (hence so much detailing content recently) Please bear with me though as it will hopefully be worth the wait. Thanks again

@@thegolfdiaries1123 thanks for the reply, I hope you get better soon mate and I look forward to more content, a point of view drive video would be nice to see in the cabby 👌

@@thevdubber6918 Cheers. The Rivage needs some mechnical work before she goes anywhere unfortunately which is what I need to get more mobile for. But yes, the plan is to get content out on the road with both cars...plus shows, viewer car features etc. Thanks

Hi Mark, another little gem of old school VW stashed away. Didn't realise so few were made! " how many left" ( google search) will help with identifying its brothers and sisters. Still the Anni is one of only 300 max so even more rare especially as yours is totally original. Looking forward to all you post👍🤙
    Stay safe😷

@@thegolfdiaries1123 Check out Vwgolf1 ebay account for your new/ old badges for the Virage, just bought some plate holders with a red trim for my Anni and hope it'll look like all the others now with a touch of red at the front.🤙

Hi mate, I’ve just bought a 1993 Sportline and I absolutely love it, always wanted one! That’s a beautiful colour combo probably even prefer it to my red and black hood. Just wanted to ask did you find or do you know of anyone who supplies the original badges? Enjoy mate hopefully drive past each other one day -cheers 👍🏾👍🏾

Putting the cloth interior back into it would be a good start, originality makes these or any of the late Gti or sportline cars worth the best money
Bit of patina on a 30 + year old car isn’t as much of an issue as non standard or inferior parts fitted to them in my experience

Thanks. I'm not sure I'll be changing the interior now as good original ones are difficult to find and we're not too worried about how much this one is worth as it's our fun car as opposed to an investment or a collector's piece. The other one is fully stock and that is the 'show car'...this one isn't as such.

You're missing the front GTI grille badge and the Rivage decals from the rear lower quarters. The steering wheel should be leather trimmed also.
All GTI cabs came with MFA. Only the clipper had non mfa.
Also it's not correct that all Rivage LTH were 95 bhp.
Only very late ones in either cloth or LTH had the detuned catalytic 2H engine fitted. This was also fitted to late clipper models instead of the carbed engine. Most Rivages had the DX engine fitted here in the UK. Whereas the 2H was favoured in Europe and the states to comply with emissions regulations. The Classicline being the Rivages European version tended to be fitted with 2H.
Yours looks really nice and the heated seats are brilliant in late Autumn a windblokker fitted, heated seats on and heater on you can still drop the top. Great summer cars.

Thanks for watching and for the info. The GTI badge was broken when we bought it and hasn’t been replaced. It will be bought when I buy the full set. The steering wheel is leather trimmed and the Rivage decals are indeed there ;) Great little car in need of some TLC. We’ll get it there. Thanks again

I believe they did but could be wrong. I think they came out just at the end of H. I’ll check. Thanks for watching. Much more coming!
