Just stumbled across your feed. One of the best videos I’ve seen on the divide for a photography/videography standpoint. Now to find your other vids. 😂
73 miles is a big day when it’s that chunky! Loved this video. Obviously doable on a gravel bike, or would you have preferred a hard tail in hindsight? Are there any recommended guidebooks or resources for planning?
@morganBrown - I have the redshift cockpit which takes out a bit of the bounce. 55mm tires really help. But a hardtail would have been a good option for sure on that day in particular. Take a look at Bikepacking.com's writeup of the route. There is a great facebook group with lots of info on an ongoing basis. The ACA publishes maps and a has book on the route.
Amazing. Thank you for the beautiful share. 👏💖 The adventure I want to do someday. 😍👏👏
It was a very nice tour in nature. Congratulations.
Beautiful video. I love the sound on tyres on gravel
Damn! There’s just so much more to see and feel from a bike saddle;)
Great video! Thanks for showing some of the Jemez Mountains ride from Abiquiu to Cuba!
I loved that part of the ride!!
Wonderful footage!! I’m jealous

@davis2001r6 thank you for the kind words! I hope you enjoy the others. In my final video of the series I link to all the other ones.
I saw the same moose on top of Marshall pass in 2023. Fun easy climbing in that section
@yumyumhungry it was a great climb!
I am not surprised the amount of times you put your bike in shot for a picture 😊 I would to. Nice bike nice setup.
@rottieshepcalibre9156 thanks - the bike works great for this type of riding!
Nothing like the sound of a bicycle tire on a gravel road.

What is the water contaminated with so high up? Figured it would be pristine, strange. Excellent video!
@mickilkr we were riding through a superfund cleanup site area that day. Mining residue.
Nice ride, video. Were you on a big group ride, supported? Beautiful country.
We rode with as part of the ACA Great Divide tour - so yes we had a van/trailer supporting us but camped most nights. Highly recommended way to do it
@@roadslikethese agreed.. bucket list, thxs!
@@roadslikethese Is that why you didn't carry everything but "the kitchen sink" on your bike? Lol.
Who did the cooking ... ACA ... and did they supply the meals as well?
@tombiggi1024 ACA provided the cooking equipment, we rotated cooking our meals. The cost of the trip included most meals
You could have just done circles around Salida Colorado and drank “First Cast” from Elevations Brewery instead!
Awesome stuff. What did you film this with if I may ask?
@garygriffin5432 I used a GoPro 11 and a DJI Drone
Wish I had the stamina 😮
Super video with excellent narration. Communications profi, maybe?
Marketing :)
I like your video very much, although I am not familiar with English
