I remember the players from the Cleveland Browns came to my high school and played donkey basketball against our faculty. I was able to get their signatures, including Webster Slaughter's. Great Memories!

One of my childhood ( teen years) idols. What an incredible football player and what an incredible human being. To this day I still love this man and all those players on those Browns teams. Praying for you Webster as you go around readings and teaching God's word. Just a ton of respect for this man and that he had the drive and courage to be obedient to do God's work when he was called. I'm sure he could be doing many other things with more accolades but once a champion always a champion. Great man, this interview bought back so many emotions and memories! Much Love #84!!!

Webstar Slaughterhouse OBG the Original Browns GangStar. After years of watching on TV my first Browns game was that MNF game against Pittspuke. I lost my voice and had a headache from all the yelling and a night I'll never forget. One o the best memories of my youth. Go Browns!

Glad to hear he's a Christian!!
Wish he would have talked about Langhorne and Brennan more..
    Mack Byner Fontenote
    Kosar
    Dixon Minnifield
The game against the Raiders where I remember they said he was overrated as he torched them..
Looked like after one catch they tried to break his ankle...
    Man I miss him 😔

Webster is the most competitive person I've ever known. Circa 1985 SDSU. Me and my other roommates, decided to play a pickup basketball game in the park. Webster wasn't very tall, or big. He looked 5' 11" but maybe a shade taller. Anyway, I saw him dunk with authority. It seemed like he was a foot above the rim when he did it. I can attest to his basketball skill. If you read this by any chance, get at Gillis, I know he'd love to speak to you. He's doing well, beautiful wife, 4 kids.

I love Web as much as anyone, but he's the one that's responsible for poor Ernest Byner's (The Fumble) place in Brown's infamy...he was supposed to clear out Castille to the corner, or block him...he did neither, and the rest is history...Byner never blames him, or even mentions him either...
