Love Jamie Oliver and his down home cooking, he makes it all so simple and easy, not like some Master Cooks who seem to be out too impress everyone with their expensive Picasso´s on a plate.
me and my father tried to make this many times when i was a small child. Ive got a craving for this so im going to remake this recipe. Thank you for the happiness you bought me.
All the recipes so great since it’s so easy to make due to different techniques Jamie shows. So down to earth. Literally, his recipes are the only one I use. Just got addicted to it because it saves time, fast and easy, whether it’s now or decade ago, still Jamie is awesome and authentic.
I made it today. It's was extremely delicious. My sauce I do with fresh vegetables so takes me more time. But.. All was really awesome. Thank u Oliver!!! I LUV U
I just want to note that at 0:39 he mentions onion but I don't see it being used later in the video. According to the same recipe on his website, 1 medium onion over medium heat (cooked for 7 minutes) is supposed to be added at 6:20 before the chilli and garlic go in. I've made this recipe a few times and it is indeed very delicious!
Just wanted to say that I made this for dinner last night! When I was pan frying the meat balls about a third of them fell apart, do I'm thinking maybe I added too many breadcrumbs, not enough egg, or didn't mix it well enough. Also it took me an hour to make for the reasons 1) I'm not a professional chef, 2) My kids are young and constantly are needing my attention, 3) I was also making a homemade garlic bread to go with the meal. I was really pleased with what the Rosemary did to the beef like you said and that simple sauce is so quick and tastes like it's been simmering 'on the hob' all afternoon! Thanks for the video!
I love your way of cooking quick n easy. I have tried few of your recipes very easy to follow and the outcome is good. Thank you for sharing the videos ☺❤
Balls aside, this is the hardest beer and food match of them all! Tomato sauce. I'd try a really spicy saison or a double IPA with some real sweetness.
He was thinking of his burger recipe (which is exactly the same, I've cooked it a hundred times) when he's making this and in fact it slips out when he chucks in the egg. This needs pork to blend with the beef - check this moment right here: Jamie Oliver's meatballs and pasta - Ministry of Food
I am a total cooking noob. And your recipe is so good that it makes me look good! Thanks a lot man! LOL! Of course, I linked my family to your page. We must always share good recipes!
Hi Jamie, i'm enjoying your videos. It makes it easy to see how I can cook up a storm in the kitchen. If I could make one suggestion though. What I like to do is watch the video, see how you do it, then, if I could, print out a full recipe page (1 A4 page makes it easy to file and store.) And with one page I can take it to the shop for ingredients and put it in front of me while i'm in the kitchen just to refer to. Love your passion for good food mate.
I love the way you make things seem easy , while you cook! wow! Can't wait to try them! If you could do vegetable meet balls in sauce too would be much appreciated ! as I don't eat meat! 👍
He doesnt allow any time for the meatballs cooking in the sauce to infuse it with flavour. You should cook the meatballs in the sauce for at least 20 minutes
If anyone want's the written instruction for this recipe you can find it on the following youtube video. Jamie's Ministry of Food | Meatballs and Pasta | Channel 4
Traditional Italian tomato sauces never use both onion and garlic. It's one or the other. Onion and garlic seriously mire one another. We mix them in Britain because we don't know what we're doing.
He loves saying balls soo much

240p?
was it recorded in 1950?
+Bruno Danese More like the 19th century.
no 2012 actually
+Rose velvet It was filmed in 2008.
1945....colored!! ;-)
They were using film in 1950, so it would have been a higher "resolution" than 240p.
me and my father tried to make this many times when i was a small child. Ive got a craving for this so im going to remake this recipe. Thank you for the happiness you bought me.

Thank you so much. I was wondering where the onion went.
1 onion is a necessity in a good tomato sauce.
His grinning when talking about "balls" is hilarious!

Taylor Sessions
not enough eggs
Too much breadcrumbs.
Taylor Sessions add some milk to your meat mixture and it will make them more tender and jucier
Taylor Sessions added too many breadcrumbs and use a fine minced meat🌹🌹
did the meat get warm while you take care of kids, since they were needing your attention?
I crack up when he says 'basil' at 0:42. 😂
Made this several time, one word DELICIOUS !!!!! 👌
I love your way of cooking quick n easy. I have tried few of your recipes very easy to follow and the outcome is good. Thank you for sharing the videos ☺❤

Interesting recipe. Jamie always explains them well.
Balls aside, this is the hardest beer and food match of them all! Tomato sauce. I'd try a really spicy saison or a double IPA with some real sweetness.
I tried the recipe and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the chilli in the sauce
You can see how much he is enjoying the ball joke in his head. :D

I just cooked it, it's really good, I'll be making it more often now.
he can`t say bals without a naughty smile.
good show, but in austria we give majoram instead of oregano. and rosmarin in meatballs?

I love the way you make things seem easy , while you cook! wow! Can't wait to try them! If you could do vegetable meet balls in sauce too would be much appreciated ! as I don't eat meat! 👍

"Personally I quite enjoy little balls" 😆

He has a giggle about the 'balls' bit.

i love how mature he is
I like the “balls” lol!

Forgot to season the meat with Salt&pepper?
He doesnt allow any time for the meatballs cooking in the sauce to infuse it with flavour. You should cook the meatballs in the sauce for at least 20 minutes
The modern world of edit, so his video is only several minutes.
Deffo gonna make some of these bad boys
Eu amo as refeições que Jaime faz são lindas criativas ele e demais e rápido Angel do jeito que eu gosto .
Jamie: And then, you serve it with your lovely sauce.

what about the onion?
thats how i do it, onion then chillies and garlic. I also add a bit of red wine with the tomatoes
Yes I must have onion and a half teaspoon of sauger or the basal is bitter
Glad I’m not the only person who noticed. He didn’t use the onion or oregano.
@@smokey04200420 he did use the oregano
