    Fun fact for Linux users: Changing to an unused tty (ie. Ctrl+Alt+F3) and executing `cat /dev/urandom` is enough to convince most normies you're a hacker.

      @@tauon_ well it depends. unless you're able to remove all tracking from windows thats a very far fetched idea, most hackers (especially black and grey hat) are gonna go with things like arch linux and gentoo since they can see exactly what is inside it and eliminate any possible tracking

    Me when I watched this: Oh, that's a window manager, without a desktop environment, running various scripts to get a bunch of cool hacker-looking stuff. And he just made a script named "hollywood" to pop up a bunch of windows. Wait... doesn't it take more than the script name to run a script? (Enters "hollywood linux" in Duck Duck Go.) God damnit it's literately just an executable in a repository anyone can install.

    That is exactly what every task on Linux basically is like. Simple, yet powerful commands. I don't know about you, but I would rather just type `yay firefox` instead of opening the default browser, typing in firefox download, being told that I should stick with Edge instead, ignoring it, downloading firefox installer and running it.

      I put it in a list of packages then type "rb" because I use aliases. Any time I move to a new system, I just bring that list to the new system and type "rb" and it's there.

      @@CodeWhizbang ok I’m not gonna get into this argument but the only reason arch users believe it’s better is because of the difficulty of use, I am currently using arch yet I still believe that all distros (that I’ve tried) are equal. (I’ve used a couple Debian distros as well)

    Everything in Linux feels like hacking, there is no firm way to do anything. Every distribution has its quirks.

      I call bollocks, almost all distribution use bash as their shell so it's the same syntax, and even if it uses something like zsh(like mac uses) or fish or if some obscure distro uses powershell(the one windows uses), you can always just change it. if you are not talking about the shell and scripting and you are talking about the gui, most distros use Gnome or KDE or XFCE and their forks which are pretty similar, and again you could just change it in five minutes if you don't like it. if you are talking about the package manager, which is what differentiates a distro from another one, most of them are pretty similar, for example in fedora or suse the commands are usually like this(yum install firefox or dnf install firefox), in debian and ubuntu based it is just apt install firefox in arch it is pacman -S firefox, so not much difference really unless it is something like portage, which you of course have the patience to learn if you manage to install gentoo
      for example I use void linux and almost any problem I look up I can fix it with askubuntu or the arch wiki which are both completely unrelated, so yes there is a firm way to do almost everything

    On windows just use either of the following two commands:
    @echo off
    cd C:/
    for /l %i in (1,0,2) do (tree /f)
    Or
    @echo off
    setlocal enabledelayedexpansion
    for /l %i in (1,0,2) do (set /a a+=1)
    (If your making this in a batch file obviously replace "%i" with "%%i"
