We had our inspection last September. Received the documents and the Grant Submission has been closed since receiving. Now we see they are taking inspection applications again but the submission process for the grant is still locked. Maybe they need to get thru the backlog of those waiting with inspections to apply before spending on more inspections. Extremely frustrating!!!!

Did not realize that I have to pay up front, that really doesn't help to get started

I agree it is difficult to navigate and understand. They are impossible to reach on the phone.

The state has only given out less than 10% of the $383 in grant money. Very poorly run program.

I looked a few days before they said it would be open again, but from what I read, there is a long process, and all repairs had to be paid for by me up front before I could even apply.... and many people with the process complete already that are waiting for money to become available. I knew there was no way, and that it would just be a big waste of my time.

Yeah so, here's the thing, it's difficult by design. Just like the Florida unemployment website and support system.

I don't know where i fall in, the category. I'm over 60 with 2 person in household. What date do i fill out for grant. Annually income is over $35,000.
