It was great video, to guideline in winter more spot to go Really enjoying your experience and zgreat working,Cheers Any recommend hiking or camera gear?
I had planned to visit Waterton as part of a trip to Glacier National Park in the US. But, there was a fire or something and the trip was postponed. But, it looks beautiful covered in snow.
I've had a couple of people mention it so maybe one day! Although my bag changes every time I go out depending on what I'm doing! This was all shot on a Canon R6 with an EF 16-35mm F4 though. The Ken's is great for those sun stars! Appreciate you watching!
@@simoncennals Thank you for sharing the info. Its really nice explaining how you captured it. Keep up the good work. I moved to Edmonton few months ago, hoping to travel and capture the beauty.
I enjoyed this video, I don't think I've seen videos on Waterton in the winter. In the final photo at sunrise, do you use a special lens to get the "sun star"? I love that. I just have an iPhone.
Hey John, it's all to do with the amount of aperture blades a lens has. The one I used is particularly good at making those sun stars and it is an affect almost impossible to achieve on an iPhone unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the great video. Super love your channel that introduces these beautiful places.
Thank you! Appreciate that!
This was one of the BEST videos I've watched about Waterton. The quality of the videos is FANTASTIC.
Ah thanks so much! Appreciate you watching 😊
Great video! I haven’t visited Waterton yet, planning on it this summer :) But it also looks so beautiful with the snow.
It's fantastic in summer! Book in advanced for accommodation but there are some great trails and you get to see the Bison!
@@simoncennals Sounds great, will do! Thank you :)

There was a really big fire in Waterton a few years ago. It closed a lot of the park for some time and unfortunately harmed a lot of wildlife.
Amazing!
I would love to know what sort of gear you carry with you.
Infact, it would be great to see a video about "whats in the bag" sort of...
