It sucks that Piccolo doesn’t really have Namekian traits, like regeneration for health, giant form or retractable arms (like a long range grab). It would really help to make Piccolo stand out more. Still my favorite character.
I feel like there was a lot of confusion during the discussions about which Piccolo has the instaspark. Sometimes you implied that Early Piccolo didn't have instaspark. Also, those short range blasts are actually REALLY good. They usually cost only 2 ki bars to use (most long range blasts cost 3) and they have a quick start up time. When you use them up close they don't require you to do the backflip first, you immediately just fire it in the opponent's face. This means you can string it in combos a lot easier and use it to counter an opponent using a back dash if you time it correctly. Due to not being able to hit long range moves properly in high tier play, I would argue that the short range blasts are actually BETTER than the long range blasts as long as you have something to catch an opponent you knocked away (like the rush moves that early piccolo, adult Gohan base, and SSJ2 adult Gohan have). Nail pros: 4DP, instaspark, explosive wave super, long range move Early Piccolo pros: 4DP, Instaspark, Rush attack, 2Ki short range blast, stun skill (basically a free ult if you hit the stun) Kamiccolo pros: better stats, long range move (however he has two very similar supers, yes one is chargeable but it may not be different enough for some people's playstyles), better combo strings, Wild Sense Personally, I would say that Nail is the worst. It's actually a toss up between the two Piccolos for who is best of the three. Kamiccolo has the edge overall, but it's an expected edge for the 1 extra DP cost. If you're doing DP battle, I would say both Piccolos are even.
I wish they can give us the actual early Piccolo outfit with the round collar. That look he has in the game is from Android saga to present. Small nitpick for me, other than that, amazing game so far. “LET THAT CHILD ALONE….”
I feel like the ultimate SBC and a fully charged standard version should be unblockable. It's an attack known for piercing anything when fully charged so blocking shouldn't be useful.
The Big difference between standard and classic contwould be the grab and your ultimate. Grab on classic you have to double tap the dash which sometimes inputs as 2 dashes instead and the ultimate sometimes will register ki blasts and backing up before the ult comes out. Everything else is just muscle memory, altough I find classic easier.
Why no Lord Slug ? I think he is pretty good. My favourite Piccolo is the early one, demo wave is good when you get used in being close range, not really use the paralyze attack, rush attack is a plus, and I believe the special beam cannon works better as a special than on Kamiccolo, plus instant sparking.

they add 2 Piccolos in the game since Tenkaichi 3 and they still can't come up with new moves. I mean the Special Beam Cannon is nice but Piccolo didn't use that move after merging with others outside of Movies or Super. I feel they could have given him a rush from the show or something. I don't know if people are up for viarity in character movesets. I mean Ultimate Gohan's moveset is now just referencing DBS instead of Z. Tho his moveset looks now more lame, at least it is something new. I guess at least the animation for Hellzone Granate is different.
Yea, I hear that. I wish they would've made explosive demon wave better. Granted Piccolo never really used it because outside of fighting Cell, who used Special Beam Cannon against him, he didn't do much in the Buu Saga, and they've already taken majority of what he did from his fight with Android 17. I'd have appreciated if they used something from his sparring session with Gohan during Super.
@@cantbebroken93 I am sure the movies and OG Dragon Ball have some moves to take from. Like the Saibaman Killing move doesn't feel like a must have to me. Maybe replace that with something different for once. The only reason I am kinda fine with Hellzone Granate and Light Granate are that they are 'named moves'. Otherwise they would not be as iconic in my mind.

The extendable arms in his melee made him feel pretty special in Budokai 3. Can’t remember if I’ve seen it since aside from grabs in the BT series.
