The unsafe space is hilarious. Yes, I was one of the people who loved Further Maths and can still work out any equation 12 years after secondary school. I studied Engineering and I am now on a different career path, also into content creation. I also understand the experience of being bullied because you were smart in secondary school. Bullied by both teachers and my classmates, It really affected my self-esteem, and sometimes I find myself acting as if I don't know certain things so it doesn't seem like I am showing off. I still love Mathematics and coach students from primary to secondary school.
Jola's unsafe space killed me 🤣🤣🤣 Further Maths student here. Loved it from day 1, got a B2 in SSCE. I teach and research at a University in Theoretical Computer Science 😄

I’m dying!!😂😂 Further Maths student here! Loved it in high school but almost killed me when I did my Masters. They gave it a fancy name: “Advanced Engineering Math”.
I’m a drainage engineer now and i haven’t used any dydx yet😂😂 but I still love it anyways. Love your podcast! Makes me laugh all the time❤.
That unsafe space was personal. I am a structural engineer so I use both the math and all the physics we learnt in school 😂

Wo! I had to turn on my data after downloading the podcast earlier just to rant. I had a full blown outburst with my colleague at work because the prices of things this days is the sum of economic crisis and human wickedness. We all know about the economy but this human wickedness ownnnnn, my God.
Let me share an experience real quick, I love the satchet 100 naira yoghurt, so I buy it when I see the riders then I just saw a rider the other day and I told him I wanted to buy one and called it 150 naira. I had bought it a day before I knew it wasn’t hiked yet...so, I told him is it not 100 naira and he asked me that am I sure it's actually 100 and I told yes and he said okay...take it 100 naira because you are sure. It's not even funny, I know it's just 50 naira but how do you just increase your own price of a very regular commodity.
Another one...Some snack/junks vendor will just put price anyhow and I make these things, I put my costing and realise they are making over 1000 naira per snack or junks...it's crazy.
Again, I know these price increase seem small but it's absolutely abnormal and an expression of human wickedness.

I actually really loved Further math, my elder sister starting teaching me before I got to senior secondary so that really made me like it. I still taught it during nysc and I absolutely loved teaching it and still do that sometimes. but who furthermaths help really lol

Haaa well done Jola. Today’s unsafe space hit me. NGL I weirdly was always first in F.Math but will find myself being the 3rd at regular maths. Never made sense to me since it was with the same folks 😂. And yes you are correct we always do feel superior lol😮

The chairs should have more depth, so the guests don't have to turn their necks so much when they're trying to look at who's talking. they can still be spread out but more staggered

4 Tickets and 37k was gone.
I was morose the entire movie.
Medium Popcorn. Bottle of water.
Apparently breakdown of the ticket showed that the ticket itself is 4,500 then the Medium popcorn was 4k and water was 700 abi 800naira.
Sigh.
