having used a magma build extensively the best stat spread is 45/45 int/fth for the gelmir staff, and just meeting the str/dex requirements for blasphemous. the staff's scaling drops off significantly after 45 in int or fth, so going to 60 really does nothing for it. blasphemous' melee damage suffers a bit but you're depending on spell and ash damage anyway, and even at 45 fth taker's flames does very respectable damage. 45 int also lets you use rykard's rancor, which is a really great tool for the magma spell lineup as it's a great diversionary spell for creating opportunities for roiling magma, gelmir's fury, and taker's flames.
it's a fun build for people who like laying traps, setting off chain explosions, and sowing chaos in general.
If only we could use it to cast -pyromancies- fire incantations
I also like to have juuuust enough Arcane for the Magma Breath incant, cast from the Golden Order seal for best results- even on a non-dragon communion build, it absolutely churns out damage
I LOVE roiling magma, in particular for PvE. If they aren't aggroed onto you, most enemies will walk INTO the blast radius to investigate, and the fully charged blast does so much damage that they generally burn to death instantly. Very useful for clearing dungeons.
I really hope they consider adding seem less coop into the base game on all platforms that would be a real treat from such an amazing developer
Smagma build. Simple. Effective. Eruption aow is good at stance breaking the Smith golems
Crazy how much more reactable reverse blades look on seamless. If Bandai/Fromsoft can't be bothered to fix their netcode now, I don't have much hope for future titles.
If you jump right when you would normally sleep you'll get the falling animation and won't go to sleep.
Lost, maybe 1? Blue flask if invading in seemless coop while focusing on ashes and magic?

how do you guys feel about seamless if you've played it. imo infinitely better experience than vanilla invasions and co-op. but the cheaters are real. i have had several players just turn on infinite health because theyre losing.
Some invaders are extra sweaty with cheated in gear at low RL, one guy showed up with cheated in nude mode and pays you in Marikas 80k runes for clothing.
@@stefani.5737 to be fair you could acquire any item in the game without leveling your character or weapon levels it would just take a long time. spawning in an item at low level is less cheating and more of a time save. i know for sure im not about to replay the whole game every time i want to make a new invasion build just to get golden seeds and mid/late game weapons for the build.
you could almost call it twinking, but the disadvantage of invaders being low level far outways the advantage they got by spawning in a late game weapon.
I LOVE Magma Build. My Blasphemous Blade with Magma Blade as a back up was sooooo fun. The Sorceries are pretty fun as well

It’d be cool if that magma shot stuck to the opponents like a semtex, would definitely make it more usable
Dual Magma Blades or the Wyrm Scalesword would be fun to try with that talisman.
I remember Dark Souls 3 had voice chat feature, wonder why Elden Ring lost it? Maybe Seamless can add it back in?
It does have voice chat you have to manually turn it on in settings

Magmawyrm scalesword ash of war is legit with the dread talisman too. When someone walks into your lava I was getting 900 damage procs for them just touching it.
That explains the one time I barely touched the lava pool from that and took 2/3 of my health in 1 tick.
The claws of night scattershot throw is now completely insane and very annoying :/

if you use the talisman that rises focus you can use the Lulling Branch without falling asleep
Magma blade is my favorite to use on a magma build. It’s not the best or anything, and god knows it was a pain to farm for, but it’s fun

How does the levels work in seemless invasions? I'm trying to figure it out. Because you hit people all the way down to level 160, and my friend (who was playing on a level like 110 ish character at the time) got invaded from level 215ish people.

You could of made this build so much better with the Fire Scorpion Talisman and the Oil Soaked Tear and Fire Tear

Random question I’m a lvl 180 incant caster should I just boost up to level to hundred to get more damage with my weapons as well ?
I think you'll have a higher bracket of players at 180 for online but 200 seems to be fine for lost

Never really understood why the blasphemous blade didn't have a int/faith scaling like the magma sorcery's. Magma was cool just didn't have the best spells

This weapon literally made me question the difficulty of the DLC. Everyone was talking about how hard it was and I'm like "It's not that bad" until I swapped off this and now everything is underwhelming damage wise 😭
U just dont know how to speck other things. I basically 2-4 shotted every boss until consort radan with juzt ancient ligthning. If radahn had bigger and more hitboxes he would probably be 3 shot too
