Dimash sings here as a guest on the New Wave 2018 (international competition). Igor Krutoy, the man in the white shirt at the end, a famous Russian composer, music titan and initiator of the New Wave had invited him. Now, both are a "Dreamteam" and work together from time to time. They are friends, have a father-son-relationship.
... and of course Dimash donates the many flowers to hospitals and retirement homes.
The band that Dimash accompanies at this performance called A’Studio, who composed and performed “Sinful Passion” in 1998. The band is also from Kazakhstan (Dimash's homeland) and this Dimash performance has revived the song.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash.

Dimash’s dears are very aware of Dimash’s respectful redistribution of the flowers and I recall one of the European fan bases had a horticulturist develop a breed of flowers for Dimash. The pianist and the guitarist in this performance were original members of the band that composed and performed this song originally. The original singer- not quite at Dimash’s level- passed away and Dimash added the traditional lament in the middle. Cheers from Canada!

Dimash always acknowledges the members of his band, even the sound engineers and arrangers after his concerts. In case you didn't notice, Dimash belted that note for 22 seconds...including key changes, riffs, and runs.

The song was originally done by a group called A Studio. The lead singer had passed away and dimash paid homage to him by doing the chanting in this performance which is a tradition in Kazakhstan when someone passes away. The rest of group a studio was assisting dimash in this particular performance on stage
Fine man at the front wearing a white shirt standing is the very Famous Igor Krutoy this was the first time he heard Dimash. After this performance Igor Krutoy came out of retirement in order to work with Dimash. If you watch future performances & see Igor Krutoy playing the piano you will know that he wrote the music for Dimash for his voice & the talents he has.
If you have watched Stranger that was written for Dimash. The Love of tired Swans, Love is like a dream…..on & on. Mr.Krutoy is a very interesting person. He has a wife & family that lives in the USA, but he travels back & forth to Europe Russia, etc. he is very famous over there & extremely wealthy.

Thank you for another reaction to our beloved Dimash. There are so many performances to choose from and each one can be so different from the rest that you'll never get bored. I use the word "performance" because he never just sings but performs with every cell in his body. There are many performances from the Chinese show SINGER, when he was only 22, that are awesome. SOS, your 1st reaction to Dimash, was from that show. You will be amazed at OPERA 2, THE SHOW MUST GO ON (a Queen cover), and my personal favorite from that show, ADAGIO in which he plays piano. From the Tokyo Jazz Festival 2020, he sings IKANAIDA. You have to see it to believe it. During that same Festival he sings a Kazakh folk song, SAMALTAU, which shows yet another facet of his endless talent. He sings these two in a studio in China and they're transmitted live to Tokyo because Covid prevented traveling. I'm so looking forward to more reactions. Dimash is still surprisingly unknown here in the USA and reactors like you make it possible for others to hear the best singer in the world.😊❤

I've come to the conclusion that Dimash has no ceiling. His voice gets higher and higher.

Dimash is amazing. Some other great male singers you might like are Marc Martel - does mostly Queen covers, but also other covers as well as his own music. Did the vocals for the Bohemian Rhapsody movie, also multi-instrumentalist. His cover of BoRap is up to something like 55M views now. Tommy Johansson - former guitarist of Sabaton, lead singer/guitarist of Majestica. Does his own solo work covering everything from Disney to Celline to all things metal. Phenomenal voice and multi-instrumentalist. His most popular cover right now is She's Gone (Steelheart). Eric Gronwall - former lead singer of HEAT and recently stepped down as lead singer of Skid Row. Also does his own solo covers, all excellent. Cheers!

This is a cover of Sinful Passion originally by A´Studio. The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters.
