I love Passione but I love even more that this is one of the few times Dimash comes out of character midway through a song because he can't help smiling at the little girl 🤣
"Passione" is another masterpiece created by composers Igor Krutoy and poet Lilia Vinogradova. The premiere took place at the New Wave 2019 festival in Sochi. "Passione" is not a song, but rather a mini-series based on the "Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri. In this mini-performance, the music, words, performance of Dimash and the choir form a single whole. Stunning paintings in the background show paintings by Di Fritzione and Bosch. The black-and-white color of the costumes of Dimash and the artists of the choir shows how the struggle of feelings in the human soul unfolds, between good and evil, between light and dark. It's a work of art. The set design of the number is a reference to Dante Alighieri's "Hell". When all hell breaks loose, an angel appears in the face of a little girl who touches the hearts and souls of people. The world will be all right again, we see how the gloomy world is changing into a bright image. ❤
This is an original. Igor composed it. I absolutely love Dimash’s storytelling. He was only 25 years old here. It’s amazing how he was able to explore the depth of this philosophical masterpiece in his performance. The song is inspired by Dante Alighieri's 'Divine Comedy' or a painting by the hell painter Hieronymus Bosch (background). It is a representation of our inner selves and how we all have virtue and vice within us, and the battle between good and evil that rages within us and our ability to choose what is right. I think that the little girl symbolizes the pure soul within us.
This is one of my favorite performances but I must admit I was shocked that I liked it so much at first because it is so creative and odd. Dimashes vocals are astounding here in both power, stamina and agility. I understand the lack of adjectives. Even with a nice fat Thesaurus in the home, I am often at a loss for words.😉🤭 Thank you for sharing this performance with us.❤️ 🥰🥰Much love from Canada🇨🇦
Imagine how he holds us enthrall during his upwards to three hours of live performance. Unbelievable; love your reactions! You DO resemble him a bit, you know. The handsome older brother. ❤
Good morning Kevin from Chris in warm and sunny Thailand. I think you are from near Birmingham in England, same as me. I came here to this reaction of "Passione" from your message that your Dad had died on 8 June. This made my reaction to both you and this Dimash performance here more emotional than might otherwise have been. I was also reminded of the Dimash concert I attended in Kuala Lumpur almost exactly a year ago! I read the messages from the other Dears and of course, I echo them and feel for you at this time. Bereavement is suffering in its own right and it takes time to grieve and accept the loss of a loved one, especially a parent. Go with your feelings and return when you are ready. ❣
Hi Kevin! This piece is inspired from Dantes "Inferno". The humankinds great battle between goodness and evil, the light and the dark. You can se the backdrop is quite hell:ish with great suffering. The little girl dressed in white represents innocence. The choir dressed in black evil/temtation. And Dimash would be mankind itself. Dressed in white. But with a black shirt underneath.. Awesome reaction! As usual! 😅 Peace and Love from Fellow-Dear in Sweden.
I love “passione”, but somehow after all these years, “know” remains my favorite! The live version, the mesmerizing “vocalise” version/s ( comes in so many different amazing wonderful different versions!), or the official MV which happens to be the most beautiful, primal, amazing, raw, magnificent musical video EVER produced!❤
I recognized the trebello right away. Did you… (not vibrato). Tebelo from the twitch on of the inside fan of the cabinet of a Hammond B3 organ or any number. Of woodwind and other instruments from an orchestra. I had never heard a human voice do this? Is it taught in opera or classical singing. It’s not the first time of heard something from Dimash that I’ve never heard before. I’ve always enjoyed the sound of his soprano better than female soprano it’s both rock and opera female singers. It’s their vibrato that’s grating to my ears. Dimashs perfect pitch and unique harmonics that is a clue to my likes and dislikes I’m sure.
I understand what you are feeling but I can't really help you because I feel it too! Thank you again, again for sharing your first listen to Passione with us.😍
Dimash was on top form for this performance, he certainly wasn't sick. There's loads of backstage footage from this performance and Dimash appears in perfect health at all times.
It's absolutely live, however the choir isn't because they arrived too late for rehearsals. Dimash never lies in interviews, if he doesn't like the question he will divert or refuse to answer but in interview he was asked outright if he was singing live for this performance and he said both he and Igor were live, the choir wasn't. One other way you can tell in this video is that he removes an earpiece. If he's about to sing a note that's going to hurt his ears he will remove one. Another thing is that in backstage footage Dimash is clearly seen switching his microphone on just before he comes on stage. Now can we please drop the lip syncing argument? It's usually pretty obvious when Dimash is lip syncing and it happens a lot less frequently than most people insist he is just because they can't believe anyone can sing like he does live.
@@debbiemorgan859I can't believe it either That's why I am going to Istanbul May 24th to see his concert To witness for myself his incredible voice I want to see it for myself Thanx for reacting and the comments
I think we've all got one, I actually love Passione but I absolutely loathe Know Vocalise. It's the one song I will skip every time and I was overjoyed when he left it out of the Budapest concert 🤣
@@EllanaTsI don't think Dimash liked Your Love that much, even with all the changes he made Igor make, it's one that he's rarely sung. I notice also that he's never actually performed Okay live either!

Yes, and he was a bit red in the face and out of breath when he talked to the audience after.

The one song by Dimash that I really can't watch. I hate it, but I will come back the next Dimash reaction. ❤
It took me a while to grow into it, but I absolutely love it now! I am still growing into “My Love”, just got tired of Igor’s epicness by that point.
