What a wonderful layout!! Believe or not, I nearly bought appropriate locomotives and rolling stock to build the station and freight terminus in Shelbyville, Indiana. I’m modelling the heritage line with which I volunteer.
Did you know that they still used Big Boy locomotives for hauling heavy freight trains in the 1980s? I visited my cousins there in Shelbyville in 1990, at the very end of steam except on heritage railroads.
The motive power is too modern for the consists on the freights. I really miss freight cars with road names and advertising slogans on them and no graffitti. However, beautiful layout. Really enjoyed it. Any steam?

What a wonderful model railroad. We enjoyed Winter Park years ago. I wish I had known about this layout and could've come to and open house.
