You're so good at teaching the technology instead of just doing paint by color. You're setting people up to be problem solvers, not drop and draggers. Thanks for your content!
Definetly agree. I'm a self taught photographer so I use youtube videos all the time to learn new tips and how tos. This is absolutely the best TEACHING video I've ever watched, I get so frusterated when I am shown how to do something, but am not taught why I need to do it or why/how it works. Thank you, you've found a new subscriber.
There are a few things about which features of Photoshop to learn first The selection feature Removal of unwanted objects Layers (I learned about these and more on Trevs Photo Blueprint site )
"oh my god I love him" high pitched came out of my mouth 20 seconds into the tutorial. Excellent teaching technique and beautiful personality. This video and one from Tuvid are the best I found on this subject. Thank you! Subscribed
I suffer from a portfolio that looks like it's a book of short stories by various artists. I thought this was going to be a much more heavy tutorial, I'm so glad it's a quick and easy way to bring a little more unity to my portfolio, heck, even just photo sets. Thanks Aaron, you just helped me step my online presence up :)
This is exactly the technique that I have been searching for like mad. Other youtubers just blindly tell us to follow their tutorials without explaining the concept. Love ya
Just a note. Most of your tutorials for Photoshop work with Affinity Photo as well. There are sometimes different names or locations but most of the processes work. I enjoy your videos and I have gotten a lot of useful information from them. Thanks...
You're a great teacher, you not only show how it's done, but you take the extra steps to explain 'why', with the B&W sky tones. I'm 13 years in and run a design studio and I didn't know this haha. Thank you!
Is it possible to do this in lightroom using the tone curve and side by side comparison view then create a preset to apply to multiple images? Or in your experience is photoshop better equipped for this task?
Been needing this for a while.. thank you!! I am a paying member because I have learned so much through your youtube channel... your teachings are much appreciated ~ Edward
@bron lebron Can safely say, Pro is most certainly worth it. The level of detail given in the tutorials is amazing, not to mention just one of their series can really redefine how you edit and get you thinking about how to apply the techniques and tools used outside of the context of the courses.
From Previous lessons, I've learned that we could also use Threshold Adjustment Layer instead of black and white to test the light and shadow of the image. Thank you for teaching us these valuable methods..
he did this with just a levels layer? bruh everyone else i have watched did this with a swatches and he did this with just a levels layer? *bows down to the master*
This is great! How would I best approach a batch, when I am trying to do collages behind text from original photos. Is this technique batchable? Thank you!!
Hello! If you send us an email to support with a little more info and a few examples of what you're trying to do, our team will try to give you some advice.🤗
Hey there! If you have time check out this PRO tutorial phlearn.com/tutorial/match-colors-lightroom-photoshop/ It will give you additional insight on how to match color between images.
I've watched most of your videos but I don't see what I'm looking for. I would like to use Adobe Capture or perhaps a color reader to capture walls colors as I'm an interior photographer. Can you tell me please how I would use those captured colors in Photoshop or L/room to good effect. Thanks
What if you need to make your highlights lighter and your shadows darker? Can't move the slider more to the left than the darkest point of the picture and same goes with the highlights.
I've tried this technique on multiple images but only works if there is a difference in black/white levels? I have sets of images that have clearly different color casts, but the black and white levels are essentially the same so there's nothing to adjust.
I learn so much watching your channel. 30 days of photoshop is something I will go back to many times. Can you ,or anyone else do some trouble shooting. All of a sudden,in P.S 20, Image>image size freezes the whole of photoshop and only closing my pc down gets me working again. P.S 19 is fine. How can I sort this and is there any other way of resizing for printing? Thankyou for make sense of editing at last.
Please Aaron, make a video on how you created hair faces. I’ve remembered an image from ages ago you mentioned that you spent all night painting individual hairs but it looks so cool
Heeey. I just found you on Fiverr learn. M so so excited. I don't know why. But seeing you there brought a huge smile to my face. 😄 Okay. I know why now. It's cos you're the only person there with the 5.0/5.0 rating.

paint by numbers, not by colors

Fantastic. Thank you! Question: how do I create a preset (for LR) OR an action (for PS), to apply these colors in other images, please?
Can you use this steps to create a LUT to export for using in videos?
Boop! Loved it!
he did this with just a levels layer? bruh everyone else i have watched did this with a swatches and he did this with just a levels layer?

OMG! Thank you a lot! Your way of matching colors is great! Much better than gradient map, It really gives you more control 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great Video. Concise information so clearly explained.
Great tutorial! thanks
thanks for sample image . i can practice
Is there any way to save that adjustment as a LUT?

Thank you so much! This is very helpful. But by any chance, if there are multiple photos, is there a way to do it across the multiple photos?

What if you need to make your highlights lighter and your shadows darker? Can't move the slider more to the left than the darkest point of the picture and same goes with the highlights.

Wow. I wish I saw this years ago. Would've saved me hours of my life if not days.
