I don’t have one specialization, because I was very curious and made all types of clothes for my clients. Lingerie, swimwear, casual dresses, evening and wedding dresses, corsets, suits and coats. So I have many skills for shine and share✨
@@elaorsini thank you For responding . You know everything you just listed are all the things I LOVE & want to see but have been afraid to ! So ashamed to say that. I have tried sewing a bathing suit without a pattern & using a serger for the first time. Well, I never used the server BC I could never figure out all those buttons. I watched vids but I just could never get them right cuz I just don’t understand how exactly they r suppose to work . U know I’m suppose to change them on each fabric?!🤦🏼♀️ And then I tried to take measurements and that was another hot mess. I want to sew bathing suit bottoms from the 80s. They sit VERRRRRY high above the hip bone . There are any patterns out there like the suits from the 80s. They were very narrow in the front and the higher on the sides the better. So, I don’t know HOW I would do that ? Then the back with the scrunch . Oh and a corset , I have very large breast . My back is a 36 now ( was 32) H . -36H , so u know they don’t have patterns my size . I wish I knew how to do all the measurements. How did u learn ? I seriously think you are soooo amazing ! I just don’t know how it is that I’m just learning about you & its thru UTUBE , but even with that I’ve been on here since 2012!! How come I’ve never seen your vids?! You should have AT LEAST A MILLION FOLLOWERS! I think u are WONDERFUL!
I was saying they DONT have bathing suit patterns of the REAL bathing suits from the 80s. And you are very creative !! I am about to try to watch all your vids now! LOLOL!!
Oh I understand You, it’s not easy learn by yourself. I admire persons which did not have sewing education and learn information by they self! I am sure I could not do nothing in sewing without education, more easy if You have some base education
You are so amazing! How do these ideas come to you? I love to sew! I wish I was gifted with a talent such as yours! Where I don’t need a pattern I knew how to ‘CREATE’ the pattern like yourself !
Ideas, fantasy was always my problems, I think we have two types designers: artist and engineer. Artist is about ideas fantasy, engineer is about logic, work by brain. I am engineer, I have target, after I create plan for do this target. I will speak about this later, I am sure my experience in this question can be helpful for some young designers, because everyone had situation when thought: I am zero, I don’t have inspiration, I don’t have fantasy, I cannot create miracle. I found my magic pill for remove this words from my heart: I try use only logic and my work more fast and without tragedy
@@elaorsini WOW! I am a self taught designer and you just nailed something I’ve been struggling with for a while! I’ve always loved fashion and dressing up but I didn’t grow up dreaming of actually creating unique and beautiful pieces. When Covid first began, I picked up sewing as a hobby… strictly learning from TH-cam and Reddit! I have the technical/hands on skills of sewing down but I struggle with creating ideas of the actual design, before executing the production of it. Your comment just made me realize that MY method of “designing” is based on logic (measurements and shape) and that’s my strength! Fall of last year I enrolled in a semester of one flat pattern making class at my local community college which helped me produce more creations by understanding, using, and manipulating measurements. THANK YOU!
