Your channel has single-handedly sparked my interest in Cold War DCS. Just bought the MiG-21 and I've been doing a bit of practice waiting for Enigma's server to switch to Caucasus. Good video as always.

Hi comrade, I suggest Syria to be your next buy. The map is way cooler then Caucasus and it is the most frequent in the enigma server
Great flight. It just feels right flying the 19 and Sabre during the Caucasus mission. I love ECW videos because the server is a wild hodge-podge of skill. You have complete beginners who lack any sort of SA and then you have 5k+ hour fliers just dunking on everyone. Makes for a very diverse and fun experience.

Love the Farmer content. I've had the 21 for a while, but the 19 seems like it'd be really fun to dogfight in compared to the 21
Not having a delta wing makes a world of different to sustained turn performance, it’s basically a Sabre/MiG-15 hybrid on allllll the steroids.
I loved the Mig-19 when I used the trial, I will get it on the next sale.

Practice practice practice, look into BFM/ACM fundamentals and you’ll be better than most on the server.

hey man just got mig-19. it feels so much better then mig-21 and cold start not that bad but hip is other story.

Hi Great video and great ace. I was wondering if the current pictures status that you get on top right corner is automatic in the server or is intentional with some keybind?
It’s part of the EWR system on the server, option 5 from the EWR menu, auto updated every 30 seconds

Is the f16 and f14 flyable in the Cold War server?
The 14 is with points earned through destruction of ground units, but the F-16 is far too modern.

I still dream of the day I can use it at altitude for a beautiful one tap deflection shot…
But if it weren’t for that dream I’m not sure I’d even have the controls bound 😅
I quit DCS because of how the game engine renders objects at a distance. I refuse to run my rig at 720p in order to enjoy a dogfight. I've never had to that in other sims.
For Enigma’s server you can run the dot mod to aid spotting at higher resolutions, they’ve turned off the integrity check.
also dcs just added the dot mod into the game so dots will be same size no matter the resolution with update 2.9
