    I don't think this is anything really new when I lived there,.. as a construction worker right near the convention center... It was comon to see guys in high heels and fishnets.. it was late evening early morning hours but they were always around, and this was like 20-25 years ago

      Actually gays started it back in the 80's when everybody deserted Asbury
