    Purchased! 35# 28” It will replace my fiberglass Tatar “Vader” as the durable, all-weather, bring-it-anywhere, longer-draw, try-it-out practice bow in my arsenal. Thank you for maintaining your channel and your guidance, Armin! 🙇🏻‍♂️👍🏹

    First I recently got my first Ali Bow in the mail and love it (30lb Tartar). I like the price and so far the quality. Second, I share and recommend your channel to everyone. Upon taking up the hobby of archery less then a year ago, I seen many different videos, but yours sir stuck out and now it's one of two archery channels I watch (The other being NuSensei). You are informative, and entertaining and for some one like me who is learning you make it easy to follow what your saying. You seem like a natural teacher. But, every so often you will do a video that is a little off archery and that I really enjoy. Some time ago you did a little video just about relaxing, calming ones minds. I found so useful I shared it in a depression and anxiety group I am in (indeed I applied some of what you said in my own day to day life), it got some great feed back. Goes to show your advice expands well beyond archery. Great video as always sir.

    I'm a novice archer. But I'm watching as many videos as I can to learn. ILF recurve, compound, Asiatic (my favorite), and none of them are quite as informative and educational as yours. You are the best. Please keep the videos coming!

    Great review. These Alibow fiberglass bows shoot well and are really well made. The only problem I've had with them is that the suede arrow pass doesn't last too long. I've replaced the suede with lightly waxed twine whipping and this seems to work quite well.

    Yeah mate, I bought this bow today, just because of this video, and I have never shot an arrow in my life before. So, I may smack myself in the foot at first, but yeah, I'll be alright … Your videos are informative, and entertaining, great job there mate!

    I bought this bow---and started archery---because of your videos. Thanks! The bow seems perfect for me. It took more than a month to arrive, so I also got a wood laminate Toparchery recurve from Amazon in the meantime. Also less than $100, and a really nice bow (granted, I have very limited experience). I'm shooting Euro draw on the recurve and thumb on the Tibetan. All I do is based on your videos, and I've learned a lot. I'm not sure I understand arrows yet. I'm wishing I had gotten bamboo from Alibow that matched the Tibetan when I bought it because the 3 different length and spine arrows I have are all quite different in feel and flight. Thanks again Armin.

    I just received my Qinghai Fiberglass Bow today and absolutely love it. I've always loved and appreciated the beauty of laminated bow, but fiberglass is much more practical for me living here in SW Florida, where the heat and humidity are so often outrageous. Mine is 35# and covered with black leather. The workmanship id wonderful and the pull is smooth as can be. Thank you for your informed and complete review on this bow, as it helped me make my decision on which bow to buy.

    I'm sold!!!!! I have been waiting for just the right review of a bow that fits my needs on ALL levels. went to Alibow and will order...put it in the cart just to make sure I get the right specs based on your review. I just need to talk to them about the $9999.00 shipping charge if over 8kg shipping weight ...I specified 45# at 32 inches of draw length because 40# is the accepted min draw weight for whitetail deer. thank you so much for this review. 4-6 weeks wait on getting it...I'll go crazy!!!!

    So far I think I shot about 100/150 arrows on 8meter distance and this bow is so lovely!
    Thank you for your review and also for replying on my e-mail back in the day.
    Soon I'll start my way into thumb release, so far I'm loving to simply shoot this 30lbs bow instead of my 40lbs bamboo laminated haha
    Can't wait to shoot this bow on a longer distance then in my attic ^^
    Thnx again!

      Now having it in my hand after series of exhausting process from custom, needs a license from Police etc 😑, very smooth draw, a little handshock but when using heavier arrow feels nice and comfort, quite accurate and joy to shoot. If Alibow fiberglass bow feels nice like this, how much more the feeling of the laminated version of this qing hai bow? 😊

      @@malcolmjones4108 I've found that it depends on the bow and string. Of the two fiberglass Alibows I have, the Turkish required quite a bit of twisting to get it to a better brace height for smoother, more consistent shooting, but the Qinghai didn't actually require any twisting (I put a few twists in it to keep the string strands together, but it didn't need the brace height changed).

    @skullqaqskull9507 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love your videos very informative. When you do the comparison with alibows fiberglass manchu this question has bothered me for ages with alibow. The max draw weight for the fiberglass manchu is 10# less than the max draw weight for the fiberglass Qinghai, so 50# vs 60# if i remember correctly from their site.
    Now the question is, is the qinghai more powerful? Most would assume yes if it has a higher weight however manchus tend to be more powerful than other bows so theres the kicker. Then theres the different bow length options they have and how that factors in, are they different bows or different strings? Bc if we are increasing brace hight then we are increasing power and draw weight. So what is alibows most powerful fiberglass bow? Also i mean power as in throwing heavy arrows rather than range/speed, thats more for the likes of the turkish bow.

    • @ArminHirmer
      @ArminHirmer  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I guess the Yarha is the most powerful

    • @alexanderflack566
      @alexanderflack566 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ArminHirmer If I had to guess, I would think that the Qinghai would be more powerful, because the draw weight for that is measured at 28" rather than 34". That's about 75#@33", versus 50#@35" for the Yarha. Two inches of draw length will make a lot of difference in both energy stored and efficiency, but not enough to overcome a 50% higher draw weight.
      My Qinghai is 55#@28", but it goes up to 67#@32" (I haven't measured it at 33", since my arrow shafts are only 32").

I have mad 3 other longbows all around 35lbs and have a 70 lbs warbow i am currently making. I practice thumb release with my 30 lbs and the stress on my thumb is no issue, my Mediterranean draw is 29in, and it seems my thumb draw is around 30 or 31in. I am 6'2" 215 and in good shape. I was thinking on getting a Qinghai Tibetan bow at 50lbs as i already have a 30 pound bow to practice thumb release. I've been doing compound archery since i was 12 years old, and traditional since i was 21. I am 34 years old. I would like to believe that a 50lbs thumb draw would be fine for me. Any thoughts would be appreciated?
