From a psychological standpoint, Sasuke still hasn't gotten over the vast amount of PTSD he gathered at a early age. I think he reacted the way he did when Sarada was born because he's afraid of them ending up like his family. To the folks talking about him wanting to restore his clan, this still holds true and I truly believe that he wants this. But, when people lose something that dear to them when they get anything close to what they lost, some panic some don't. After he and Sakura got married and began living as a family, his reactions is the best he can currently do. He is still trying to know how to show love again since he lost anyone who would show him familial love at a early age.... he doesn't remember how to show emotions other than anger and such.
Y'all read Sasuke Retsudan? He literally calls her his wife and gives her a ring. Their relationship is really intimate in that and Sasuke even feels uneasy with leaving her at the village for such a long time when one of the guys talks about her getting with another man.

In Sasuke Retsuden it explains how Sasuke views Sakura as his family. That all he knows about family, after losing his entire clan, is him being with Sakura. It's so natural to him to be with her that there was never any doubt in his mind. It's no surprise he doesn't express emotions in a traditional way (and that's traditional by Americanized standards, I cannot speak to Japanese culture) after all the trauma he endured throughout his life. The fact he was able to bring himself back from the darkness and grow true attachment to Sakura, enough to make a child with her says everything about their relationship. Just because it isn't the typical lovey dovey romance doesn't mean it isn't real love. I think that is the beauty behind their relationship.

He's actually just not good at writing strong, believable characters with grounded and detailed back stories or character motivations. He's also pretty bad at long term story telling. It's almost like he was raised in a very formal family who never really said "I love you" and was then traumatised horribly by the murder of all he held dear by the one he loved most... multiple times. Yeah, that would fuck with anyones' ability to express their love to others. His expression of love is allowing Sakura to stay by him and using the one action of love that he does know to reach out to his wife and daughter.
But also I think people should remember (Not saying they don't) but Sasuke was 7-8 during the Uchiha massacre. He definitely has major PTSD and the life he followed kinda destroyed his ability to accept and work with emotions. Actually it's a typical thing in Japan tor mothers to basically raise the kids on their own and the father to be away at work. It's called chichioya fuzai (父親不在, roughly meaning that the father is missing in action). I don’t read Sakura‘s blushing as awkward. Or at least I don’t read it in terms of awkward as in meaning that it causes them to be difficult to deal with I feel like a lot of their relationship is very intimate and very unspoken because Sasuke doesn’t know how to verbally say what he feels and Sakura idolized him childhood and I think that her mindset when it comes to loving him is still very much in that mindset this is of course displayed by the fact that she still uses the honorific at the end of his name. My aunt has been married to her husband for 12 years and to this day even though they have three children together and has built a life together she blushes whenever he gives her a complement that is a direct reflection of something that she herself as a personal achievement such as her cooking or her business. My aunt was an incredibly bad cook in the beginning of their relationship and my uncle really loves food, he’s a soft-core foodie. So, you can imagine how much the relationship grew just around food so when he compliments her on it it is an incredibly intimate thing between them and she will be blushing and she’ll be unable to articulate what she’s doing if you ask her to explain her cooking after he does it. It’s incredibly cute to watch and it’s one of the things that I have a woman hope for in a relationship in the future. When it comes to her her business which is a party planning business that took a heavy hit during the pandemic the fact that she managed to keep some parts of it alive and financially OK impressed him as he is someone who works in accounting, which a compliment from him is four times more appreciated and I think another reason why it makes her blush because not only is it a complement what is a compliment from someone who can accurately assess it. I feel like Sasuke and Sakura‘s relationship mimics a lot of my uncle and aunts relationship because it’s about the intimacy and it’s about the acknowledgment of one’s strengths and the understanding of ones weaknesses and the supporting of that. Sasuke is a man of many conflicts while he wants to build a strong family unit to replace the one he lost, he also feels the need to atone for the sins he is committed. I feel like Sasuke leaving throughout the relationship was Sasuke realizing that they were parts of his self discovery that he didn’t realize he needs to find until he saw those things reflected in Sakura and he couldn’t give them to her. Couples go through that were 1/2 of them will need to go on some kind of self discovery in order to reconnect and as someone who is deeply traumatized as a child I feel like Sasuke would have a ton of that baggage. To be honest, (Sasuke stans will kill me but oh well) Sasuke is a bad father to his own daughter Sarada. Sakura never left Sarada because she's her one and only daughter, but Sasuke didn't give a crap and just left which makes me upset and somewhat sad at the same time. Da is just a plain affirmative form, meanwhile na's role is usually to emphasize your statement, but still a weaker way to emphasize than yo for example. Whether it's a da or na doesn't really change the meaning, it's still the same "maybe next time", na instead of da only adding a slightly different feel to it. I'd compare it to "maybe next time" and "maybe next time, yeah?" in English. In Sasuke Retsuden it explains how Sasuke views Sakura as his family. That all he knows about family, after losing his entire clan, is him being with Sakura. It's so natural to him to be with her that there was never any doubt in his mind. It's no surprise he doesn't express emotions in a traditional way (and that's traditional by Americanized standards, I cannot speak to Japanese culture) after all the trauma he endured throughout his life. The fact he was able to bring himself back from the darkness and grow true attachment to Sakura, enough to make a child with her says everything about their relationship. Just because it isn't the typical lovey dovey romance doesn't mean it isn't real love. I think that is the beauty behind their relationship.

Actually it's a typical thing in Japan tor mothers to basically raise the kids on their own and the father to be away at work. It's called chichioya fuzai (父親不在, roughly meaning that the father is missing in action).

The first time I saw Sarada I know she's Sasuke and Sakura's daughter, she can't be Karin's since Naruto's clan had the most chakra reserves and endurance while Sakura had this monstrous physical strength which Sarada did inherited and she also tires easily since she just had an average chakra reserve like the other ninjas. I don’t read Sakura‘s blushing as awkward. Or at least I don’t read it in terms of awkward as in meaning that it causes them to be difficult to deal with I feel like a lot of their relationship is very intimate and very unspoken because Sasuke doesn’t know how to verbally say what he feels and Sakura idolized him childhood and I think that her mindset when it comes to loving him is still very much in that mindset this is of course displayed by the fact that she still uses the honorific at the end of his name. My aunt has been married to her husband for 12 years and to this day even though they have three children together and has built a life together she blushes whenever he gives her a complement that is a direct reflection of something that she herself as a personal achievement such as her cooking or her business. My aunt was an incredibly bad cook in the beginning of their relationship and my uncle really loves food, he’s a soft-core foodie. So, you can imagine how much the relationship grew just around food so when he compliments her on it it is an incredibly intimate thing between them and she will be blushing and she’ll be unable to articulate what she’s doing if you ask her to explain her cooking after he does it. It’s incredibly cute to watch and it’s one of the things that I have a woman hope for in a relationship in the future. When it comes to her her business which is a party planning business that took a heavy hit during the pandemic the fact that she managed to keep some parts of it alive and financially OK impressed him as he is someone who works in accounting, which a compliment from him is four times more appreciated and I think another reason why it makes her blush because not only is it a complement what is a compliment from someone who can accurately assess it.
I feel like Sasuke and Sakura‘s relationship mimics a lot of my uncle and aunts relationship because it’s about the intimacy and it’s about the acknowledgment of one’s strengths and the understanding of ones weaknesses and the supporting of that. Sasuke is a man of many conflicts while he wants to build a strong family unit to replace the one he lost, he also feels the need to atone for the sins he is committed. I feel like Sasuke leaving throughout the relationship was Sasuke realizing that they were parts of his self discovery that he didn’t realize he needs to find until he saw those things reflected in Sakura and he couldn’t give them to her. Couples go through that were 1/2 of them will need to go on some kind of self discovery in order to reconnect and as someone who is deeply traumatized as a child I feel like Sasuke would have a ton of that baggage. I love that their love is understanding and I really wish that the Naruto community would respect Sakura more and her inside his relationship, like I get it he’s OP and he’s cool and he’s tired email his bloodline is fucking awesome so you guys want him to be with a bad bitch with a cool weapon a sexier design and a war history to match his old but instead you got a cute girl who is deeply caring, highly accomplished, and stable. 🤦🏾♀️

As a NaruSaku fan, I always saw Sasuke liking Sakura from the beginning, Sasuke is the most harsh with people he likes, because for him that was a weakness, but whenever it came to Sakura he had always had a bit of a soft spot for her. Also that scene when he left village and put Sakura on a bench just sealed entire thing. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke always had a bit of a love triangle and I think somewhere in interviews author also mentioned it.

To be honest, (Sasuke stans will kill me but oh well) Sasuke is a bad father to his own daughter Sarada. Sakura never left Sarada because she's her one and only daughter, but Sasuke didn't give a crap and just left which makes me upset and somewhat sad at the same time. Sakura still blushes around Sasuke because she loves him and finds him attractive, it doesn't mean she's awkward around him. Sure they both had their awkward moments around each other but it's her husband who she truly loves.

Da is just a plain affirmative form, meanwhile na's role is usually to emphasize your statement, but still a weaker way to emphasize than yo for example. Whether it's a da or na doesn't really change the meaning, it's still the same "maybe next time", na instead of da only adding a slightly different feel to it. I'd compare it to "maybe next time" and "maybe next time, yeah?" in English.
