    Wow that dB explanation was really clean, helps alot

      Also, everytime something gets cut in half in the linear domain, it drops by 3db or you add -3db in the db domain. Likewise in an amplifier has a gain of 20db it amplifies the signal power by a factor of 100, right?

    Machines used in RF skin treatments & laser lipo always list the panels of diodes as anywhere from 5mW to 160mW. They say the higher the better, but what exactly is this measuring? Thanks

    Well explained the energy aspect as well db approach very nice the convention we studied here needs to add a two in factor to the convention u ve defined .it is important to clarify that the range of mentioned used frequencies in RF is a direct result of the priorities you choose smart and small gadgets in state of human life safety haha . Ty for this nice presentation

Hope someone will guide me

    I work at an independent satellite teleport in the US, and we have 3 RF engineers on-site M-F 9-5 and on-call 24/7, 365. They design and build antenna paths for satellite antennas anywhere from 4.5-13 meters in size. We furnish customer equipment in a building near the antennas, where all the transmit and receive traffic comes from antenna and goes via waveguide then copper IFL and then, the RF signal is run through equipment that conditions the signal’s strength and then converting it to fiber optic and coaxial cable. The signal usually connects to customer furnished equipment, who have RF equipment that converts it into whatever format they desire to go to fiber and then out to the customer via their network.

    • @flabenelli

      Michael Pozsgay yes, thats a electronic microscope

    • @michaelpozsgay9985
      @michaelpozsgay9985 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you referring to a scanning electron microscope? That's simple observation of the electrons of any desired item. I was wondering if it's possible to manipulate said electrons though the application of R.F signals? In a way reshape an object with ether high or low decibel R.F waves.

    • @michaelpozsgay9985
      @michaelpozsgay9985 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      or to use in some sort of ion thrusters for space travel. By using R.F to accelerate electrons to light speed. or an electron gun that could vaporize matter.
