- Two men boarded the missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 using stolen passports. They may have nothing to do with the mystery but it made us think -- how easy is it to forge a passport? And what is the government doing to combat fraud?

If passport is connected to issuing country's immigration database, and the officer simply have to click to compare it to the original copy of passport bearing the photo, will it still be possible to fake, unless the perpetrator disguises like the real owner?

The process should not be shorter and cheaper it’s a privilege to be given citizenship by another Government not a right and quite rightly takes time for many reasons including background checks none of these things can be done quickly and would cheapen and devalue that country’s citizenship.
