The Hanged Man, Reversed -room references the tarot card of the same name.
It's meaning (the card) can be interpreted as delays, resistance, stalling, indecision, which is exactly what the rooms does.
It makes you think there is something special in there and confuses you with enemy that does not move, bringing you to a halt thus stalling and delaying you, bringing your progress to a halt.
That's my theory about it anyway, it's just there to fuck with you.

what's funny is that the Hanged Man reversed card in the tarot means that "you're being impulsive and making rash decisions to distract yourself from some sort of inner discontentment," a good parallel Grayfruit playing this very difficult game to get the laptop thief "off his mind." Given he did pretty good and doesn't seem to have suffered much mental anguish from it, but still.

333333 is a really good custom level if you're looking for something with decent length that feels close to a sequel. The final area is terrifyingly difficult, but if you haven't heard VVVVVV's amazing unused tracks, 333333 puts the two to good use and is a great way to get introduced to them.

Great video. You’ve inspired me to pick up this game. It’s REALLY fun. I actually died more than 1000 times (half my deaths) on the veni vidi vici room but actually grabbing it was the most satisfying thing ever. I’ve now 100% the game and looking to get some of the achievements.
