Dododex pre tame stats don't tell the whole story, when they tame all the bonus levels could go in melee and health and it might be the best tamed stats you've ever saw. If you want tek rex go to the northeast part of the lake on Valguero around the redwood island, there are always multiple rex there, I've found several high Tek Rex there. My first pair came out with 12k health 450 melee base!
Damn syntac you should really use a griffin for taming allos so that way you dont have to build a trap everytime just fly above the allo then fly straight down towards it in slow speed then when you get close enough pull out your gun then you will stay pointing down able to shoot the allo till its K.O. its so much faster when your stat hunting. Or atleast just leave the trap in the middle of the highlands then fly around killing low levels and kiting high levels once you have a few lead them into the trap then shoot each 1 untill its in flee mode then switch to a different 1 untill there all fleeing then knock each one out and tame them all at once. By the way Great video, I watch them alot while stat breeding waiting for eggs to fall lol or for dinos to mature, lol your always waiting when stat breeding. Or breeding in general hatching 3,000 - 10,000 eggs a day lol
I miss the simpler days too. After 5000 hours honestly, I just stopped. We play on servers now with no Tech crap, no guns, do it hard way only looking forward to the new expansion. Thanks for keeping content coming.
started a new game in valguero: tek rex lvl 208 on day 6 :S base wipe xD many sauropods are actualy quite light for their size. and density is what matter in water also dont track lvls before taming, track them after taming, its worth the kibble, I've seen creatures with 40 lvls in a stat get 1 lvl, and creatures with 30 lvls in a stat get 20 extra and suddenly boom gg creature. Edit: dont know if you are interested but since you are already using 3th party software to get the creature levels: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=793605978 will give you the lvls in a easy to see way, and we all thurst you not to use the rest of the info (hp/torpor) xD

My allos were 3 180 and 1 168. The 168 had WAY higher health than all three 180. Despite the fact that the 180s had high health wild stats. A L W A Y S just tame and kill after. It's dumb to use just the wild stats!!
Me and my friend logged on to a new ragnorock server and we saw unlocked chests so we took them, then the guy cam back asked us we said yes gave the stuff back then he ( he was a lot better) gave us a fertilized Wyvren egg and a bunch of ramshackle apprentice stuff from him than he also let us tribe with him
The Valguero Ice Wyvern is easer for me to use for picking up and dropping things into straps. The are slower and being slower give me more time to line things up. Its a shame you can't take them to other maps though.
But did u know that acs bp have better crafting multyplier from msc, so basicaly if u take asc and msc with same stats and craft them with same crafting charachter u wil get higher asc item than msc item.
Diplos are good at taming big stuff without having to build a trap. You just have to dismount but stay on it's back, then whistle for it to attack the dino you want to tame, and shoot darts at it. They are fast enough to keep up when the creature start torpor running, Dinos can't hit you as long as you stay on the diplo's back, they are tanky enough to take a beating, sometimes won't even get hit thanks to the knock-back and their attack don't deal any damage so you don't have to worry about loosing taming efficiency. I tried it and I tamed a max level rex easy with that technique. Can be usefully for those who don't have S+ or are short on material.
I feel like the levels reshuffle when tamed. Not sure if that's right at all. But plenty of times I've put the stats into dododex when knocked out, and dododex says that 20+ levels are wasted. And then when I check the levels after taming, suddenly dododex says that 0-10 levels are wasted. Am I crazy?
Dododex is only for wild stats, tamed stat points give different amounts of stats so it could think there are way more points in a stat than there is, so it gets all wonky
Syntac, according to Dododex, Allosauruses can be picked up by Wyverns, Quetzals, and Tusoteuthis(if they are in the water). Hope this helps😀. Have a good day🙂.
I go for 168-180. I had a 168 male argy that had the best melee of all the ones we captured. I prefer taming Allos with wyverns dropping them into a trap but I have tamed one from the back of a Thyla. Too much running around for me so I can say I have no-trapped tamed (not my choice) but I won't unless I absolutely have to. Grabbing with wyverns seems iffy but you have to aim for the center of the creature more. Still, have had pick ups fail.
I find it funny how Ark became my "Adult Version" of Pokemon in a sense. I remember the days when I was oblivious of the stats, the days when a high level meant something. Now a high level means it can potentially be a disappointment. I miss the simpler days.

Syntac, one very embarrassing fact about me in ARK is that I only input the stats in Dododex after it’s tamed and I always get the highest stats. Only realised in this video, thanks.
i tend to ignore pre-tame stats, as the new levels obtained freshly tamed can make or break a dino. Ive had it where good pretame animals totally tank their points into ox or food or speed and ones with meh stats stack melee or hp. Its all up to RNG and luck really.
you have to wait till it's tamed to know if the stats are shit or not cause the levels it gets from taming are randomly allocated so it could have shit stats wild but get all it's levels dumped into melee then it's good for breeding, likewise it could have amazing stats wild then get all it's stats dumped into weight or speed or ox and then it sucks
They need to permanently add the dodorex to the game even if they make it a bit smaller they did a good job on the dodorex it was made well it doesnt glitch into other dinos it walks over terrain really good everything about it is great I like its fast attack so ya they definitly need to add it to the game for good, like I said even if they make a smaller 1 with the same stats as a rex would be fine then on halloween events still have the regular giant dodorex or somthing idk i just wat the dodorex for a permanent tame lol

He knows but its better to get lots of wild stats in melee and bonus stats than very low melee and bonus stats
By best allosaurus has 6345.3 health(not leveled)and 511.3 attack damage (also not leveled)(max lvl on my server 150)

Yes 150 rex and it had 1054 health and 1975 melee and I had pretty high rates
You can’t get 1975 melee even with all the stats into melee.
I knocked a 135 igaunodon with 6 points in hp and 60 in food and oxygen combined

All tek spawn super heaving towards the lower end of the main ocean on the map and on the islands in the ocean hope it helps
With your server settings and the 3x imprint multiplier you should be able to run the bosses with allos no problem

ive tamed a level 450 rex and it stats were so horrible, it ended dying to a level 165 therizino

Yes, Quetzals can pick up Allo's now. Not sure when the change happened, but that's how I got my Allo's.
