It's very interesting to me how "Nightcore" became a thing because waaayyyy before TH-cam even existed, 2002 to be exact I would mess with the pitch of songs that where on tape by adding a bit of pressure to the play button. You couldn't do it on CD audio just Tape...but that was how I would get that "sped up pitch" that is now considered "trendy" nightcore music. I would listen to it all the time growing up waayy before it was even popular.
