Why u dont use sand paper for resurface the gun?
present restoring a TOZ 8m single shot,not quite as bad as yours but one part can not get the rear sight ,find getting the years of oil out of what ever timber they used on going work, using white spirit and Acetone leave for a while then use a heat gun and wipe off the old oil that ad penetrated the timber ,fingers crossed for that rear sight,as intend to shoot the rifle as it is registered as we have to do in AU
