This is the first time I've come across your channel, and I watched the Temu-Amazon comparison of various travel products. I have to say that this is the first such video that has actually compared both online marketplaces (at least from what I've seen). Granted, I understand that it's impossible to compare every product Temu and Amazon sells, but you did one heck of a job with these six! Also, I want to compliment you on your presentation: intelligent, organized and thorough. One of the best TH-camrs out there! Congrats!
Great video. As an avid Temu shopper whose ordered 35 orders to date, I can add a little here. 1. The quality is generally less than that of Amazon. The clothes are thinner and 80% or so is polyester, the silicone products are much thinner, the plastic products are much thinner, just all around thinner. 2. They do an amazing job with customer service. They make it so easy to return items. The first return of the order is free and they email you the label. So wait to try everything out in your order before initiating that return. There's plenty of times they just say keep it and you don't have to return it. I chose to take a Temu credit cause I know I'll be ordering again anyway. The credit appears usually within a few hours of the post office receiving the return. And if you are told to just keep it, the credit is there within minutes. 3. They have an amazing price adjustment for the first 30 days. You don't even have to call and wait on line forever, you just go into your account and if there's an adjustment you click on it and get the adjustment as credit. I check my orders every day cause a several of my orders have had 5-7 price adjustments in that 30 days. It's like Christmas getting that free money lol 4. Packaging: this is a plus and a minus for me. The positive is that if this product is for myself, I don't care for a ton of packaging that'll clog our landfills so Temu is great for that. However I don't usually order gifts from Temu as the packaging looks super cheap and gets pretty banged up in those orange bags. Overall: I'd say Temu takes the win for some and not others. If you keep your expectations in line with the price point, then you'll generally be happy. Don't expect Gucci on a Walmart budget. I hope this has been a helpful bonus to your great video. TEMU keeps there prices lower by not having all the cute little boxes, extra added items included in the boxes, etc so there’s that. At the end of the day, the only person that’s going to know it’s a dupe is you.

The temu makeup bag put a piece of cardboard on the bottom for stronger structure and it will stay in shape. It works great with any bag that's a fit flimsy ✌️

I recently bought 2 small tech pouches and 4 small sanitary pads pouches from temu, one is an emergency pouch with basic necessity stuff. I like both temu and Amazon
I did buy a couple of travel items from temu for my trip coming up. After I’ve been pleased with most but after seeing the comparison of the makeup bag and the brush holder I am now rethinking ordering those from Amazon and just taking the loss. Thank you for this review.

I love most of my Temu purchases. I would rather save money on Temu to decide if i would use something. Temu has it’s place, though I do plan on using my Temu backpack that cost under $40 to travel around the world in a few months

I ordered of Temu for the first time a few days ago. Now the thing I don't like is the first time you return is free anything after that is 7.99 to ship it back. So for that reason Im sticking with Amazon free returns
The first return OF EACH ORDER is free. You pay only if you initiate an additional return after completing the first return process, which can have multiple items.
That is why you make sure to include anything you want from the package. You can also return items from other packages. I order alot. You have 90 days to return. As long as you haven't returned anything in the packaged it wik be free. I never I paid for shipping. Sometimes they will let u you know if it has to be returned if not you get to keep and they will still refund you. I have had this happen quite a bit andI choose Temu credit because I am always buying from them.

I love this comparison video. Ive been comparing both sites pricing every time I order. I ordered the Temu make up bag, and I was disappointed at the compartments.
These items are all made in China and usually, the factory makes both versions of the product. In some instances, this is a copyright violation but not worth pursuing by the original manufacturer. Often, the knock-offs are made with cheaper materials but not always. The Temu items are, on balance, the more environmentally friendly option. All of the items are coming from China but the Amazon items often take an extra trip to a U.S.-based warehouse so use more fuel, and always use more packaging. I'm still weighing the pros and cons to see if I'll ever order from Temu. I work for an alliance of large manufacturers and sympathize with their plight. Then again, they wouldn't be in this situation if they weren't deeply committed to squeezing every last 1/10th of a penny for their shareholders and having Chinese factories create their items. It's definitely a complex situation.
I would still order from both sites. I have the Temu cosmetics organizer, didn't have high expectations, and don't really love it. I think I will repurpose with first aid kinda items to keep under the bathroom sink. I really dislike the middle pouch being loose, but should be fine for thermometers or band aids etc., and the big compartment for first aid creams and bandages etc. If you haven't returned yours, maybe you could fill with some toiletry items and donate to a woman's shelter instead.
Ordering from amazon from abroad is not any point, well not where Im at in Europe. I pay more for Temu than Americans but it’s already included tax and customs which would be added if Temu didn’t already do that. Some Temu items are rather pricey but many are not. So for Amazon not every seller ship here plus it gets pricey afterwards. My point is, this was so great because a lot of people don’t really test out their Temu products. And if they do they are often super positive because they are paid by Temu 🙈 Well done, a pro video. Keep up the good work:)
Oh boy I got nervous to watch this 😂 I am getting ready for a 3 1/2 week trip this summer with my 9 year old son & just ordered a few little items from Temu 🙏🏼🤞🏼😂 t the rest I got from Amazon so we’ll see.. my Temu package should be here any day now 😬

Obviously Amazon is going to be a bit more better quality, you get what you pay for. Not sure this is a fair comparison. Because of the HUGE price difference TBH. It's like comparing Walmart to Nordstrom. It's NOT even going to come close most of the time.
Temu gives “dollar tree” but they have things for much less than Amazon. Temu doesn’t sell as much as Amazon but they have a pretty big seller selection. It’s all the same cheaply made and overpriced stuff IMO. But it’s Temu for the win for me!👍🏾🥇🏆😂
I returned small things to temu...didnt even have to send them back and got a credit immediately on the site but for other ways of money return takes longer
The products are the same because temu just copied the design! They did not have much engineering costs! Same as undercutting Luis Vuitton! The Chinese are playing the long game and undercutting Amazon! Another company down the tubes! I have no affiliation with Amazon, just saying! Also wouldn’t give the Chinese company my main credit card! They say privacy is the same, but travel to China and you will find out differently! Temu prices are great but how would you like to get your product ripped off! Retired no skin in the game! Don’t complain when we have no companies left! The Chinese use sweat shops too! That’s why they are jumping off the roofs of plants! Just be mindful that there are other issues besides lower prices! That said you did a good job of comparing! Maybe Amazon will reduce prices before they loose there business! Amazon aren’t you glad your suppliers are undercutting you!

That was a euro price. The euro is so close to the US dollar. I think the difference is only .07 cents.
